Amazing!! Changed my life forever!! It is unfortunate that so many christians do not realise unless they know who they are in Christ they will never live a fullfilled Christian life in the "gloirous heritence" we have through Jesus. These may seems just words to someone and I understand as it frustrated me for years this in Christ, in Christ. Then one day I spent hours and hours praying in tongues for a relevation!! And WOW!! No words to explain.......I got the relevation and the heavens opened with blessing upon blessing. PRAISE GOD I am now walking in my GLORIOUS INHERITANCE in all areas of my life!!

The classic book on the work of the Cross in the life of a believer in Jesus Christ. Watchman Nee was God's apostle to China, who was martyred by Mao's Red Guards, and this book is probably the most enduring of his many excellent works. It can be read by believers at every stage of their faith, but most especially in the early stages.

This is the standard read for living the Christian life. Nee shows us how to stop, be still & know that he is God. That's the key - how do you do it? & the answer is? You don't. You sit & you let the Spirit do it in you. The heart & the Mind must be changed, but we cannot do that ourselves. Nee explores Ephesians to show us the 3 steps: Sit, Walk & Stand - the title of the second section of this book. The Normal Christian life develops this person-changing process further. If you are a Christian you really should read this book.

Encouraging and inspiring book. He shows things from the Scriptures about what the christian life can and should be, which I would never have seen for myself but which are clearly there when you follow his careful step by step exposition. It needs to be read slowly and carefully several times to take it all in. Nor is it just theory. His own experience of walking with God has led him to ask questions of the scriptures and given him insight.

I like his depth of understanding of the work of the cross. And also his understanding of human nature, and explaining in depth Paul’s teaching in Romans. I could identify with his explanations of human failings and it was refreshing and a relief to know I wasn’t alone in them.

A very complicated book. Buy if you like philosophy if you want an easy read, forget this one. Easy prose though

This was a gift for a friend, so I don't know. It looked as if it might be hard to read.. hopefully my friend liked it.

I would thoroughly commend this book as one which every Christian needs to go through at least once. Covering basic Christian doctrine from a biblical stand-point (no 'funny stuff') this is incredibly life-changing. I am sorry to say that I haven't heard this basic doctrinal teaching for a number of years now. Get a copy as soon as possible, I assure you, you won't regret it.
