It’s not wooden, terrible instructions, cheap junk
My wife bought this because the listing said it was wooden. It’s not. Made of cheap plastic. The instructions are a joke. Amazon needs to vet third party items better. Nothing positive to say about this.

Value for the money.
Train itself seems fine...steam comes out of smokestack...easy on battery life...sounds like a real train with clanging bells...and whistle.The track sections don not like to stay together...so I scotch taped them.The last railcar came broken and could not be attached to the rest of the train.I will be returning it as soon as I return from my business trip.

Tracks come apart
Cute little train, very cheap construction with thin plastic, the tracks don’t stay together very well and the wheels keep coming off the tracks. Arrived with missing wheels.

Nice beginner plastic train set for a kid that actually works. Only problem a 3 year old was able to snap a track in half with ease.

My boy is so happy
The media could not be loaded. Its nice little adventure for my son. It took some time to put together but end result is good. He just staring it for sometimes and so excited.

NOT AGE APPROPRIATE
I bought this for my son that is five. I thought it would grey to keep him entertained during our holiday meals. Since he loves trains i though this would be GREAT! well i was wrong.at first when i saw the case i was wondering how it all fits in there.the case was VERY difficult to open!!then i saw the pieces. they were sort of small for train tracks - but that would not really be a problem.they need to be clicked together... but i did not have normal instructions for me to see how to set it up.after ME - the adult working on it for 30 minutes i gave up.I put it all back in the case and said I'm Done!!
