Excellent to have on hand to add to your herbal teas when you're feeling a bit under the weather. Elderberry has so many benefits, it's helpful to add a few to your other herbs in a pot of tea during the winter months. These are excellent quality, and easy to keep in an airtight (glass) canister on my tea/herb bar.

Not disappointed at all, 3rd time buying.My use is for tea, mixed with black tea, elderberry and hibiscus, with honey of course.....No problem with quality, nor taste, sealed in nice bag.******NO you CANNOT eat elderberry (any elderberry) right out of the bag:Elderberries need to be cooked before consumption because they contain a toxic substance, called cyanogenic glycosides, which can cause nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea if eaten raw; cooking breaks down these harmful compounds, making them safe to eat.That's just what I have read do your own homework, and it's the seeds inside the elderberry.

Like the size of bag taste us fresh and good. Great to put on cereal yogurts and oatmeal. Health benefits are supposed to help. Smell good
