I was excited to get 100 skeins but I don’t think I’ll be using more than half of the colors. Many of them are odd colors that they put together in the variation pattern. I would’ve been better to find 50 colors that I knew I really liked and that I would be using.

I don't do much cross-stitch or similar crafts, but when I do, I generally buy DMC. This is a great variety pack for the person in your life who does that type of crafting. You get a wide variety of colors and variegated options. It makes it easier for you to make up your own designs when you know you have the colors you need.

It’s more like 60-ish skeins. What a waste of money.Also, the metallic thread is the most infuriating thread you will ever use. They are completely useless and fray instantly.

This is a great starter kit for those who want a basic embroidery thread kit. It comes with a huge variety of colors.

This is a nice assortment of specialty flosses that would usually cost more money in the store. It's a nice variety of cotton threads and some other materials I haven't tried before. It is just packaged in a plastic sack so it's not really "giftable" but it would be an appreciated gift for any embroidery lover. My bundle was unfortunately one skein short so I only got 99.
