Doesn't get your hair wet at all

The hair umbrella keeps hair dry well! It works! The lining keeps hair neat. The fit is comfortable too.

This is a must have. I was excited to try it out and it worked perfectly. I knew it would rain on my volunteer day and couldn’t wait to use it. Everyone was so jealous! This was fashionable and allowed me to continue working without an umbrella, (I already had a raincoat & boots on). It’s lightweight, well-made, easy to adjust, and wasn’t too hot (April). It was a little tricky to fold back up but, I kept the instructions. When the event was over and the rain stopped, perfect, smooth hair and lunch date ready.

I am a mail carrier. I purchased this specifically for rainy days so that I can maintain my hairstyle. I wear locs and have been having a hard time maintaining my retwists while working in yhe rain.Yesterday it rained all day. Steady rain. I retwisted my hair two days prior. I wore this hairbrella along with my Columbia rain gear. I had a hood on as well. Previously, even with the Columbia hood, my hair would be soaked and my hairstyle ruined.Well when I got home yesterday evening, my hair was completely dry! I was so happy.It rained lightly today. A spritzy rain. I started off with nothing on my head for a while so my hair got slightly damp. I decided to put my hairbrella and hood on so as not to accumulate too much moisture. By the end of the day, my hairstyle was still in tact. Slightly damp because of walking freely through the spritz earlier in the day. I know that if I hadn’t done that, it would have been completely dry for a second day.After I got home, I let it air dry and my hair is perfectly fine. I have recommended it to other female carriers at my office.

Okay, so...I wasn't sooooo sure I was going to like it. I'll be honest. I thought that I might look a little weird. But I put it on at the last minute when it was pouring out. And I'll be darned! The visor allowed me to wear my glasses...and no rain got on them. And the hat part looked cute...like a beanie! And my hair was completey dry!!! In a rain storm! And I didn't have to carry an umbrella or be hot in a hoodie/raincoat! Great product!

Although this is a GREAT PRODUCT and provides excellent waterproof protection, I had to give the product 3 stars. The visor is made of some type of plastic where it will become stained from the satin material. This staining came after only having The Hairbrella for 2 months! Needless to say, it looks silly to wear with the visor discolored the way that it is.I did recently purchase the Lite Hairbrella version as a replacement and it's the exact same product WITHOUT the visor so as to eliminate the possibility of being disappointed again. I do love how I can be ready to protect my hair from rain at a moments notice because the Hairbrella product folds up compactly upon itself and can be kept in my crossbody purse at all times.I did reach out to the manufacturer and made the suggestion that the visor be covered with the same satin material in it's entirety to eliminate any possible staining. We shall see if this suggestion has any legs..... :)

With the course, ethnic grade of hair I have, I couldn't wait to buy one especially where I live. It rains a LOT. The humidity will blow up my hair like a CHIA PET and it's not cute... for those of us who know what those are.I keep it with me in the car. If I know the forecast ahead of time, I definitely bring it into the salon so that I can protect my hair from flopping right after I paid for the service. It works well and it's a great investment. I loved this concept so much, I have recommended this product a few times to the salon manager to consider contracting with Hairbrella as a small business owner and have these in store for purchase. I believe the salon would SELL OUT! It would be a win for Hairbrella and the salon. It's such an ingenious idea.
