I've tried many many many foundations over the years. I'm 58 now and when I found Ellis Faas 2 years ago, my search for the perfect foundation was successful.For starters, I wear Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Finish as my primer and then blend this product in. It's magic in a bottle! It melts into my skin and blurs pores and lines. Even on my worst days, this duo gives me luminous, even coverage.I go for a natural look, but it is effortlessly billable for nights out.And it lasts the entire day! I travel bicoastally every month and my face looks fresh from start to end of very long days.This is a premium price and I cringe when I have to order it, but a little goes a long ways... I'd say 8 or 9 months of about 4 to 5 days a week of use.If you are on the fence post, this isvyour sign to take the plunge!

I have many different foundations in my arsenal, ranging from Armani luminous silk, urban decay naked skin, make up forever HD liquid foundation, make up forever ultra HD stick foundation, rcma cream foundation, MAC face and body to name a few. I have normal skin that can be a bit dry in the winter. I am rather picky and that being said, this is a beautiful foundation. Glides onto the skin, providing a hydrating medium coverage. This does not look cakey or settle into any lines, nor does it accentuate dry patches. I also tend to have sensitive skin and can break out due to fragrance and various ingredients. This foundation has never broken me out. The finish is very skin like, slightly dewy and fresh, lasting a good 8 hours of wear. Photographs beautifully as well.The price may be a bit steep, but if you like any of the foundations I have listed above, you will love this foundation without a doubt. I highly recommend this for the makeup lover who doesn't like a thick cakey complexion, and likes the appearance of radiant skin.

Arrived promptly. I just love this foundation. It goes on smoothly and is flawless. I am fair but not white...I got the fair/medium and the color is perfect. I apply it with my finger and find I really don't need a brush or blender. It sinks in so easily and leaves a dewy appearance. I have normal to slightly dry skin. I'm not sure how someone with oily skin would like it but I just love the feeling of it and the moisture it gives to my face.It gives you a very natural foundation, not overly made up or fake looking. Stays on all day and feels soft to touch.Pricey for sure...the only con!!!

I usually consider it a badge of honor to find amazing products at drugstore prices, but this foundation knocks them all out of the park. It’s very hard to describe how it works. It does what all foundations want to claim to do which is “your skin better”. Light coverage, but I find myself not even using concealer because it masks all of my imperfections while letting my natural skin show through. Recommend!

I hate to be a wet blanket when so many people have posted glowing reviews about this product, but I am going to give my honest opinion anyway. The product goes on lovely, it gives nice coverage and a very pretty dewy finish; HOWEVER, it does not last. I get only a few hours of wear out of this makeup before it needs touching up. My skin is not oily. I have tried primers and, of course, I set it with loose powder. I have sprayed it with setting spray as well... nothing makes it wear very long. If you don't believe me, check out the reviews on Makeup Alley. Reviewers there say much the same thing. For the cost of this foundation, I expect much better. I will use up this bottle, but will not be reordering.

High end foundation with great coverage and moisturing as well!

Too expensive and nothing special.Armani is cheaper and much superior coverage and look.
