We purchased this for my elderly mother who has mobility issues. We didnt need the width of a bariatric chair rather the height that a bariatric chair will give you. This chair is very sturdy and works very well for her getting up and down easier.

Commode seat has nice sturdy cushion. Very comfortable easy to transfer on and off commode. I recommend purchasing.

Well I’ll speak the truth and I have used a of these commode style in my rapid declining health. But this one is well built and comfortable. So I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

well built

I am 5'9" and am confined to a wheelchair. I use this in my bathroom over the toilet. The drop arm is necessary to transfer myself back and forth. The back didn't bother me. I had my husband remove it so the commode doesn't stick out so far. My toes touch the floorbut it doesn't bother me. Because of my spinal damage I have to sit on something padded. This is quite comfortable.to sit on.. The price is right as well. It's much easier to clean yourself on this seat as well..

Uncomfortable. There much better seats available

We are very pleased with this product. It is easy to move about, to clean. It readily handles my 165# wife plopping down as she sits (it is hard for anyone to control a sitting motion, especially once bedbound). The handles are soft and look to last awhile.I chose it initially because of the ability to raise the handles out of the way - for bed transfers on a board. But in practice that has never worked out for us. So we simply leave the handles alone, and that works out much simpler.
