Notes: This tractor seat was mounted onto a New Holland TC29 tractorPositives: This tractor seat has a simulated leather seat, which is curved and well contoured to support a person's back. The seat is mounted to a rigid plastic frame, which fits under the simu-leather seat and fits fully behind the seat, and provides a sturdy structure to hold the seat curvature and contouring adequately. The plastic frame will not rust, and has a lot of rigidity. On the underside of the plastic frame, there are threaded metal inserts built into the plastic frame, for gripping bolts with strong force, for the mounting to the tractor framework itself.Under the plastic frame are two dog bone shaped, but flat, metal plates, with an integral, right angle extension on each plate. One end, the flat end, of the bone shaped plate is made to bolt into inserts in the bottom of the plastic frame, while the right angle extensions at the other end have holes for mounting to the existing framework of the tractor itself. The size and threads are a good fit for the bolts, and installed readily. The seat has a drain opening at the back of the seat portion, which allows water to drain out instead of remaining in the seat after rain.Negatives: This seat could not be directly mounted to the existing factory seat framework, because the seat was tilted at a severe angle, making it too difficult to sit in. We had to dismantle part of the factory seat framework, and modify sections of the factory seat framework, to adapt it to successfully use this seat.As there are many years and versions of the TC series tractors, you should not expect this seat to be a direct bolt-in to the factory seat framework for your New Holland TC tractor.

Universal seat. The supplied brackets work. My TC45D has bumper springs and the plates did not reach them. This allowed the seat to rest on the frame. Solution was to mount the springs directly to the seat and add rubber bumpers.Also the safety switch hole does not have a plug/cap. If you are outdoors or in a barn this is a perfect place for a mouse condo.

Good replacement for worn out stock seat. Has drain hole in center so no more wet butt. Sits taller than stock. Plastic seat pan instead of metal. Stock seat is $700.00 so easy choice to get this one.

Purchasing this seat was my second attempt at replacing my old, dilapidated seat on my 1996 New Holland 1925. The first “universal fit” seat didn’t come close to fitting my tractor. I was pleasantly surprised to see the variety of options for fit adjustments on this model. I was was able to install it quickly and perfectly without making any modifications to the tractor or the seat. The comfort of the seat is incredible. And the light grey color won’t get as hot when exposed to sunlight as the prior black seat. The seat was shipped on time and was packaged well. I highly recommend it!

Seems to sit a little higher than original. Would buy again. If left in the sun for 20-30 minutes the light gray is easier to get back on than the original burn-your-butt-black seat.

One of the pilot holes to fasten the mounting brackets was drilled but not tapped. Had to tap it myself. Seat itself is good quality and am happy now that it is mounted, but did make a 10 minute job 45 minutes.

More comfortable than the original seat.
