This unit works great. It is a bit noisy, especially on the highest of the 3 levels. I use it to extract the fumes/fine metal particles from by fiber laser. It works really well, even on the lowest setting and protects me from breathing in fine metallic particles. The filters are large, easily accessible and easy to change. hose from the vacuum head to the unit is designed with a sort of interlocking series of ball joints. This makes it easy to position the head and it holds in place, even in mid-air, quite solidly. I felt it was expensive when I purchased it, but I firmly believe it was well worth the expense.

worked ok until filters clog up, which is to be expected, though after many hours of searching to find replacement filters to find out the filters cost almost as much as the purchase of the machine, what a waste of time.

I purchased this fume extractor a lil while ago. The only that thing I ran into was that they don't sell any replacement filters. You have go through this whole process of getting replacement filters. Not worth it in my opinion.
