Needed this to trap a few baby opossums that had moved in to our garage. It was perfect. Easy to use. Very effective and a good price.

The cages arrived in new undamaged condition and are good quality. As others have noted, there are a couple of assembly issues. I attached the stabilizing wire at the cage opening with wire ties. The trip linkage outside the cage attaches to a clip at the top front of the cage. I had to release one side of the clip... otherwise, there was too much friction. There is a formed wire that attaches at the bait end. I am not sure of its purpose.After I assembled it with my mods, the trap works very well.

Did you know that squirrels love avocados growing on a tree? We have two huge avocado trees in our backyard and we were constantly losing a battle with squirrels constantly taking bites out of far too many of our avocados just before they were ready to be picked. We wanted to catch the culprits and relocate them to a nearby golf course. To date we have successfully used this perfectly sized cage to humanly trap 5 of them. Though they may get mad, once the cage is transported to another location, the end is opened, and they sprint off. This cage was a perfect answer to our problem.

The fasteners that keep this cage together are weak so some animals could push apart the panels and escape.The cage is flimsy and noisy. The metal clanks together and makes enough noise when touched to scare off some animals.The door slams down hard enough to injure a tail or leg that may be in the way. There are sharp edges all around the cage that can easily cut through paws. The holes in the cage are large enough for the animal to get a leg or arm through and a panicked creature can easily break a limb.I need to be transporting an animal in an enclosed vehicle. I don't want to be worried about a frightened, injured, bloody critter in a noisy, flimsy cage, escaping while I'm driving.I was able to return the cage but if I couldn't, this would be going in the trash because I still wouldn't use it.

This large live cage animal trap exceeded my expectations in terms of effectiveness and convenience. It's the perfect size for capturing larger animals, and the setup process was straightforward. I appreciate how easy it is to set up and break down for storage when not in use. I'm satisfied with the trap's performance and would recommend it to others with similar needs.

The latch that keeps the front door open on the trap doesn’t work very well. I had to reset it several times, only for it to go off again just 10 seconds later. That said, I’ve still managed to catch a few rabbits when the latch holds. Overall, I think it will do the job, but you’ll need to adjust it to get it working properly.

Was able to catch and relocate those bothersome red squirrels that like to get into the attic when the cold weather hits. Haven't heard a sound since moving 5 of them away from my property.

Hard to assemble, sides are crooked, metal is soft and hard to fix into correct shape. Won't stay open to work trap door.
