Q: Are the card slots snug, or has anyone had issues with the cards falling out since they aren't in a zippered portion?

The pockets are just snug enough. I've picked up a few for my wife and she's loved them all. Never an issue with items falling out. Got her a personalized pen with the last one and it's stayed in the elastic pen holder for a few months now.
