Lovely smooth writing
I like using a pencil but sometimes find them annoying. After sharpening you have to round the tip to write smoothly, or they leave small bits of lead when the tip snaps.These pencils don’t have any of these issues, they are so smooth and perfect every time I write regardless of the different paper types. I can doodle away to my hearts content and then when I need to pay attention and write something they work straight away.

A dream to write with
The best quality pencil I have ever used. So nice to write with, I have just ordered a 2nd one for work. The lead loads smoothly and doesn't snap easily under pressure like others do. The only negative is the strong smell. The pencil and packaging absolutely reek like a sickly air freshner. Im hoping this fades!

Doesn't write well, seems faulty
I got this as I need to use pencils for work a lot. It looked like a nice chunky design. Unfortunately I was very disappointed with it. Every time I write, the pencil lead moves inwards. You can't put any pressure on it, and the lead keeps sliding away and then moves inwards. It just doesn't work. Maybe I was sent a faulty one, or it was a design fault - I can't say. I didn't return it, but should have.

superb feel and reliability

Disappointing
I am a little bit disappointed with this one. Was great for the first month or so. I love the feel of it and the look, great grip and I love Faber-CastelI products. As I have to use it for work, it’s a little frustrating as the nib keeps pushing in even though the pencil is refilled with leads.

Silky smooth sketching solution
Very comfortable to use for general sketches, with the solid construction and reassuring precision found in Faber Castell products. Using some Pilot Eno coloured leads with the pencil and no problems encountered.If you're looking for a sketching tool that just feels right, and is reasonably priced, this is a good option.

Not fit for purpose
The lead retracts under normal writing pressure with very little effort making it a useless item to own .
