These lights and remote worked perfectly right out of the box. I own 3 of them and plan to purchase more after I see how they hold up. I have 7 posts I down my driveway and haven't been able to find lights that are reasonably priced. My first one I bought about 2 months ago. No problems. I see the same light selling for much more money so this is a good deal. They deliver very fast.The remote works perfectly although you really don't need it once it is setup. Three light settings, cold, medium and warm with a variable brightness setting. There is also a red light setting - not sure what that is for. There are also several choices for how long the light stays on (4-8 hours) after lighting at dusk. I wish they were a little brighter, but it is OK. You can also connect them to 120v power (direct connection) if you are not satisfied with the solar.

It stopped working and there is no support to reach out to seller. Waste of money

Beautiful disign and it does what it says it does. Easy to install Not a lot of light but enough for appeal.

I really do love the look of these lights, I had to have them professionally installed to save time. The lights are very aesthetically pleasing, well-made, and give off great light. I gave them 3 stars for two reasons that prevented me from giving them 5 stars. 1. the remote controls do not work, and 2. the instructions for both remotes for each light were missing, and so I could not control when the solar energy is being used as opposed to the electricity, which defeats the purpose. That being said, they would be absolutely perfect if they would turn on and off on their own based on the light/energy source, for example, the dusk-dawn feature, which I thought they had.

We purchased 2 for our entry gate columns. They look nice & love that they are solar.

Heavy lights that work as they should with 3 various white light options in addition to a red light option that are controlled with a remote. Stayed lit for the entire 7-8 hours. Bottom is sealed/enclosed. Heavy enough yo not blow off the pillar. Problem was the inside glass looked foggy and had numerous obvious fingerprints inside the glass -it could not be cleaned without dismantling the product. I really liked the look and weight of this light so my husband opened the bottom and we were able to clean the inside glass. We also removed the light socket and wire for solar only and the light now looks and works perfectly. We puchased 2 and a single remote can easily work both. Highly recommend these as long as you are willing to easily clean them prior to use- it involved removing 4 base screws.

the solar post cap light is large and definitely gives the light that I was looking for at night. For now I have it on the patio table and it is working great I will have my husband build me a concrete post by the mailbox to place it there once he gets his honey do list manageable( lol) . I do like that you can choose between 2 white light settings. Not really sure what the red light is for but it gives off a nice glow also.
