Brought My MacBook Air 2014 Back to Life
My MacBook Air had begun to lose charge and was only good for an hour or so off the charger. I checked the battery charge cycle (alt + Apple symbol) and it showed well over a 1000 charge cycles. This battery came with good reviews so I gave it a go. The case has 10 screws and the battery has 6? I can't remember exactly. There is a push fit connector and you are good to go. They even provide the special 'screwdrivers' you need. Simple job, 10 minutes max. Check YouTube for loads of videos if you are worried. I have waited a month to see how we go. All I can say is this battery has performed flawlessly. I take it off charge late afternoon and spend the evening browsing the internet, watching videos etc and it hardly impacts the battery. So for me it has been well worth the money.

Should have purchased this much sooner
My six year old Macbook Air was only holding charge for about 2-3 hours now and I'd been looking at purchasing a new one. Really though, other than battery life, the laptop still worked great and so it seemed a waste to replace it completely.Installation was not too tricky, but you do have to watch a video online as no other instructions are included. Took about 10 minutes in total including cleaning the inside of the laptop a bit. After replacing the battery and after the first full charge, it was showing an estimation of 8-10 hours. In reality (around a week later of a daily use), I think it holds about 6 hours which is pretty much what it was when new, will be interesting to see how it goes over time. Really chuffed as no longer have to keep putting it on charge after a little use, wish I'd purchased this a few years ago.

Breathed a new lease of life into my MacBook Air!
Nowadays I very rarely write reviews unless a product is either really good or bad. In this case being really impressed I thought I would share my opinion for the benefit of other potential buyers. For the past few months my late 2015 MacBook Air has been struggling to last more than a couple of hours on its battery and although I had toyed with the idea of getting it replaced by Apple but baulked at the potential cost!Having then done a fair bit of research I decided to try this unit from IProPower motivated mainly by the positive reviews here. The battery arrived in a really well packed and close fitting primary box that was packed in a huge box with a lot of loose paper stuffing probably due to Amazon having a limited number of box sizes but very poor from a packaging efficiency perspective! You should be aware that although the battery comes with two really good screwdrivers there are no installation instructions as has been mentioned before in other reviews. That said a couple of minutes of research and the requisite information was found on the interweb along with clear instructions for setting the battery up for maximum efficiency once it has been installed! Not being afraid of a bit of tech work I had the new battery installed in about 10 minutes with no difficulties other than having to be careful removing and replacing the connector. The battery had about 40% charge in it so I followed the online instructions first charging to 100% + 2 hours then discharging until it closed down fully exhausted before repeating the process. Now almost a week on I am getting 8 to 9 hours of normal use which is on a par with it when it was new so I am really pleased and would thoroughly recommend this solution to anyone in a similar predicament!

Good value, almost as good as the original
So far so good. I was a little worried about buying an aftermarket battery for my MacBook Air (2013) but was not willing to pay crazy Apple prices for a 10 year old laptop. Did a bit of research and opted for the iProPower, it appeared great value and worth the risk. I was impressed with the quality of the battery and the installation tools, fitting was simple and at no stage did it feel like I may break something. I followed the battery optimization recharge guidelines to ensure max battery longevity and after 6 weeks of constant use I am finding I can watch YouTube for well over 6 hours and simple web browsing can last me well over a full day. With normal light daily use I'd estimate you could get quite a few days out of it before next recharge. I'm not noticing any degradation at this stage nor battery heating so all seems well at this stage. I will update if I do have problems but given the price point I am happy to recommend
