Bought as a back up fire starting source for camping bag. It's nice it can be charged with a solar phone charger or back up battery in a pinch. I probably wouldn't use this as my primary fire starter or lighter, but it's a nice redundancy product to have in case needed.

Ordered these multiple times & still plan to order more. These are incredibly useful w its effectiveness, USB charge & helps far more that they work vry well even in windy situations 👏

TL:DR- not perfect, but has been working great for months. Very good value.Update (Edit): It's been a year of daily use and its still working very well!I didn't have high hopes for the price, but after 6 months of daily use I'm now pleasantly surprised. I gifted one to my friend and his is going strong as well. The build quality is spotty with a bit of a jiggle on the button and acrylic lens that displays the charge, and the black finish didn't stand a chance especially due to my occupation but everything else is pretty solid. The hinge is tight and springs up like Zippo, and a full charge for me will last a week or so. The charge gauge is pretty difficult to read, but it works fine enough. It's very wind resistant which is also nice. Sometimes the diodes will get dirty after about a month, but with a bit of rubbing alcohol and the supplied brush, it's works as good as new.

The ones I got last awhile, lights well and works fine. My one issue that I'm not sure if it just happens with electric lighters, because this is my first, is the 4 prongs have already started to lower and wear out. I don't use it that much compared to some, maybe 5-6 cigs a day. Unsure if that's a quality issue or just something that happens with them. Otherwise it's solid!

Great buy! Much better and cheaper option than disposable or refillable lighters. I've heard reviews that say it doesn't hold a charge very long but I'm somewhat of a heavy smoker and it lasts me a full day no problem. Just make sure you plug it in every night after heavy use

The “zap” of the electric arc or the soft hum when activated is oddly satisfying. It’s an experience that feels high-tech and safe, as there’s no open flame to worry about.

So far so good-seems to last pretty good. My only peave is the charge dont last long-ptreey much recharge every other day.
