We’ve used this twice now for mini wild camper-van breaks (no electric hook up) in our Mazda Bongo. Each time running on 12v power through our Swarey 500wh power station. Most recent trip was for two nights - three days and this little fridge freezer worked flawlessly keeping stable temp of 5°c.Build quality looks great and it feels like a solid unit well thought out in design. The control panel is simple to use and I like that it has a lock feature so nothing is accidentally pressed. It stores nicely and has decent space inside for 3 day trip. The most impressive thing for me was the power efficiency with just under half the power bank capacity remaining on day three (in the morning). Testing at home this unit with 240v power lead and had no issues getting down to -18°c, the unit seems to retain temps well in normal use. The lid design is really good with the clever lid latch design (opens either way). I reached out to Subcold to enquire about specs and they answered very quickly each time. Overall I can thoroughly recommend this to anyone looking for a portable efficient fridge freezer for camping trips or day trips.

Ordered my SUBCOOL 20 Ltr fridge early one afternoon and it arrived the very next day. Excillent!When it arrived I looked it over pluged it into the mains.It humm's at first until it reaches the required temperature then goes totally silent.It turns itself on/off perodically as required to maintain temperature.The fridge is very wall insolated and will remain cool for some time when the lid is properly closed.It feels nicely made of robust materials with no sharp or roughh edges anywhere to snag your clothes or scratch your skin.Obviously it has been designed with being carried around and on the moved in mind.The side handles make it easy to carry.The lid open's on both sides or can be removed altogether giving easy access to the inside storage space.The overall look and design colour combination is really nice.Digital controls are clear very simple to operate and read.Bottle opener on the side is a very nice little touch.I decided to go with this one!I didn't want to go silly cheap as I wanted a product I can rely on that would last and do a good job.I think this is probably a little more expensive than I anticipated to have to pay for such an item, but in the end I am very happy with my purchase and feel confident in the choise I have made.This one is perfect for me and I would definitely recomend this product!

Totally disappointed with this FridgeThere is a large hole on the side and it's now useless. Just don't have the time nor money to take time off work to return.Don't know who is at fault but I'm left £170 down and still no fridge RAGING

Well made , robust unit. Maintains temperature perfectly. Uses very little power in use. I run this from a BLUETTI AC180 power bank in a day van.Very quiet when it does kick in.Remains cold for a couple of days after the power is switched off.Can’t fault it … so far !

Using it as a freezer, accurate temperature control. really works a treat.Only one grip, the seal around the lid pulls out as the seal leaks and the moisture freezes and the seal sticks and pulls out of the groove it sits in.

First impression looks very well made. fridge got to temperature minus 2 in 15 mins compressor switches off at desired temperature and obviously will switch back on again to maintain temperature,this will depend on how often it is opened .I was pleasantly surprised how quiet compressor is ,so it's gonna be a game changer from my electric cool box that I have been using while out camping in van ,I'm using a 500 watt poweroak when parked up to power the fridge it's not gonna be anywhere as power hungry as electric cool box which was constantly running.

Amazing bit of kit. Performs well! Runs well off 12V as well as mains. Handled being in a warm tent on hot days no problem.

The fridge worked well to keep items chilled and the unit was super quiet. However, after its first use on a 3day family camping trip storing food and a few canned drinks, the inside has been left with large dents on both sides. For the price I would expect the suit to be stronger especially as we only stored a few items like milk, cheese, a few coke cans and fruit and veg. We are due to camp again this week so hoping the dents do not affect its performance.
