This thing is huge (not in a bad way , but not to huge) I upgraded from a 500$ scooter , at that price it’s too low for a scooter (for me still expensive because of my budget) but for a decent scooter you definitely have to pay 1,000 or more, I am glad I found this around this price range because it is very beautiful and performs excellent in my experience it rides very smooth , I’ve gotten it up to 36mph but I think it can go faster , because it has 3 categories and 3 gears, I use it at eco mode and 2nd gear and can still reach 30mph , sport is crazy !! You barely touch the handle and it jumps , I don’t use it to scared for it lol. I have 1 week with this and so far no problems unlike my last scooter problem after problem with the back wheel then at the end died within 2 months… the day of this review I took it out and put 120miles on it just to really stress it since I was using it lightly. I can say it’s solid and a great purchase , definitely 👍🏻 if you buy it while you wait read the guide pdf they provide very useful . Initially impressed, now not so much. Costumer service has gone downhill ever since they found out my motor wires fused to my battery, which is incredibly unsafe and implies the use of cheap wiring and shoddy engineering in general. (See picture) I wouldn’t pay more than 6-700 for this. Many features including the light, throttle, display, and just the scooter in general is very cheap. Additionally there’s no good way to lock up the scooter, as people can just unscrew the handlebars or wheels. The motor cracked when going over a tiny pothole, and the thing has a lot of speed wobbles. The brakes are unsafe, and loosen daily. I was going 25 when the brakes failed and I hit the car in front of me when they were turning in front of the bike lane. This thing breaks so much, and is a pain in the ass. Initially consumer service was good until my return period for Amazon was over, which is when they started hardly responding, and only ever at 3AM since they are in china. Not worth the money, I wanted a really fast and fun scooter for a cheaper price, but the truth is you have to spend more money on a nicer scooter for it to work. Hydraulic brakes are a must. Oh, and you want to use the app? Learn Chinese. Don’t make the same mistake I did, spend the extra 600 dollars for a scooter that will last years, not months.

UPDATE: Amazon is sitting on my returned defective product that was falsely advertised and refuses to answer the question as to WHY it has been in their possession since January 11th and I have yet to receive my refund! Do not buy this defective product! Immediately out of the box this scooter catches your eye and gets compliments. Easy to assemble the handlebar assembly to the stem. The app downloads in Chinese and it takes a minute to figure out how to switch languages. The wheels were not 10" as described they were much smaller which makes stability an issue at "higher" speeds. Very light and easy to pick up. First actual day riding was two days after delivery and it showed an error code already. I continued to ride for a few days on that error code before it simply would not go and I had to push it two miles up hill in the freezing Colorado temps. Tried the website listed on the owners manual and it doesn't exist. Same with the email listed below that. Called Amazon and asked for return, they said they would pick it up next day from work since I have no way to get it home from there. I'm 51 miles away from the delivery address. 3 days have passed and Amazon has yet to pick it up off the dock at work where it is taking up valuable space not to mention I can't purchase another until I get the funds returned to me. Very bad purchase, buyer beware.

So very happy with this purchase. I have only usually used on 1/2 power and still get 30MPH. It can go much faster. Very stable when riding. Battery life is amazing. It has a total light package that is great during the day or night. Stable on rough terain to. It is a little heavy at 60lb but it fits folds up and fits in the trunk easy and the weight with shock system works wonderfully. My friend is now buying one. Perfect for the beach, around the neighborhood or going to the pool. The key system (just swipe or put in your personal code) is really cool. Thank You

Upon arrival and trying to stand the Scooter up on its kick stand, it snapped off completely. But after reaching out to customer support there was a really professional person by the name of Chayton who helped correct the situation right away! The X5 Scooter itself though is amazing beyond words.. the most bang for your buck Scooter on market right now. Very powerful, luxurious and easy transportation !
