I liked that it was put in place inside of 5 minutes out of the box. Very Sturdy - I never truncated it - just cut my old one to top it of to fit up to my 5 ft. high exhaust vent. The dryer is now closer to the wall (I put the box behind the dryer so as to insure the dryer doesn't move but it is heavy duty metal protected so it won't crush like the old end did from the previous crazy owner. Tell your everybody this is what they need and it is always best to have a habit of inspecting your dryer vent system often for blockages that could lead to a fire. Dave in Nashville (p.s. This is absolutely the best dryer vent system ever!!!, hands on installation was smooth as silk....excellent quality of materials and craftsmanship...I love it....wishi could have found this product years ago....I wouldn't have cursed so much back then....buy it you will not regret it ...thank you folks that manufacter this product...excellent value for the price.....thanks again, Sincerely , EW

The duct itself is decent quality though it came pretty banged up and dented and you can find similar products cheaper at your local hardware store. The clamps that come with it on the other hand are cheap and low quality. The basic ones from the hardware store are much better.

Used this product to make the connection from the dryer to the rigid duct going outside the building. A product like this in kit form which includes the elbow, semi-rigid duct, and connector piece makes the job much easier. Kit was in assembled form ready to install, the packaging from Amazon was excellent.

The product was bent.
