The lights were great, however, they get hot, and you should be careful when handling them.

Great quality and very durable

400W purchase. The light itself is brilliantly bright. However, after less than 5 weeks, the toggle switch became loose and consequently wouldn't functionally turn the light on unless gently tapped on a few times. After less than 3 months, the switch fails entirely. This is a product I used approximately a dozen times, with the switch being toggled maybe less than thirty times (counting to both active and inactive positions combined.) The device itself was never shuffled or abused by myself. It sits undisturbed in the corner of my basement, meant to illuminate a few hanging tapestries. I mention this to help ensure the fault isn't because of misuse. I hate having to write a bad review on this product but when considering the expense it harbors, I feel inclined to warn others about this encountered defect.

The Yanycn 200W Blacklight is absolutely incredible and insane! It's by far the brightest ultraviolet light I've ever seen. I set it up in my party room, and the effect is amazing—I've never encountered an ultraviolet light this strong before.However, there is a significant downside: this light gets VERY HOT. It's constructed from aluminum with fins on the back to dissipate heat, but it still gets extremely hot to the touch. There is a mounting bracket included, but be warned: there is no sticker or warning indicating how hot the unit can get. After having it on for 20-30 minutes, I measured the temperature with an infrared thermometer and it was a scorching 225°F, definitely hot enough to cause burns. BE CAREFUL when handling it!Despite this, the performance and brightness of the Yanycn 200W Blacklight are unmatched. Just be mindful of the heat issue and handle it with care. If you're looking for a powerful ultraviolet light for parties or special effects, this is a fantastic choice—just remember to take precautions to avoid burns.

I used this set of four 100 watt lights for a couple of stage effects for my local community theatre. I mounted them about 10’ high spaced across the 25’ width of the stage and the black light pretty much filled the stage all the way to the back wall 20’ away. They did seem to have more light in the visual spectrum than the old style fluorescent black light tubes I have used in years past.

the device appears well made with a metal housing and the on/off switch is located on the power cord. however, keep in mind, this device gets very HOT very fast even though the power cord remains cool. i wouldn't recommend leaving this unattended while it's in use.

I turned my garage into a mini hunted house I had the 300w in the middle and 2 150w on the side !!! I was scared to spend the money on it !! But definitely glad I did!! The seller was even the cherry on top making sure it was delivered properly gave details of the product and was willing ensure I was happy if anything happened to it !!
