I don't understand the negative reviews
We use the clear and black versions of this tape to mount all manner of items within the premises of our mid-sized engineering firm. I have yet to see any failures when using this product. Over the two-plus years we have been using this product it has remained stuck to whatever we have applied it to and the mating part. Maybe some other users have had higher than reasonable expectations but I remain to be amazed at the versatility and performance of this product. The only negative point I have encountered is that it can be slightly tricky to remove the backing film once you have applied the tape to a surface, but if this is a necessary downside for the adhesive performance then I am more than willing to live with this.

Super strong
I needed to secure a lip spoiler to my bmw, I did some decent research into which one I had to buy, abit more than I should of just for some tape, this tape is the one and only one you need, get some isopropyl alcohol to clean the surface heat it with an air dryer, minimum 10 degrees with no rain to apply this outside, in regards to brick, plaster etc will obviously be warmer inside so will adhere faster and quicker, but very happy with my purchase well worth the expense.

Metal is great
I've has two experiences with this. The first I bought was for metal surfaces, I have used this on solar panels (aluminum to aluminium) and steel to steel mounting rails and the strength is instant, and amazing. Very happy with this application. So, I tried to use the same tape for mounting pine cladding to steel (campervan conversion). It was OK- as in it initially gripped but could be popped off later with a tug, wouldn't trust it long term. Fair enough, not what it's designed for and the earlier results on metal to metal were amazing. So I bought demanding surfaces tape which is downright awful - I haven't found anything it successfully sticks

So far, so good...
I had to put my rear dashcam in a new car, the kit that came initially never caused any problems so I wasn't expecting it to fall off on a regular basis. I used 3m foam adhesive and have had to replace this approximately every 4 weeks, admittedly there was some unexpected hot weather during this time.I thought this was worth a go, and tried to follow instructions to the letter ( not so easy, it says don't touch, but you have to cut to size!) Anyway I measured and cut with as little handling as I could, stuck one side onto the actual dashcam and then struggled to get the backing off, I had to use tweezers, then I stuck it to the rear windscreen and kept it in place with masking tape for 24 hours. 2 weeks later, and a hot spell that hit 28°C and it's still firmly in place. If it falls off I'll edit.March 2022, it hasn't budged!!!

Great for dashcam mount
I mainly use this stuff to stick my dashcam mounts to windscreens. Not cheap, but worth it to keep your dashcam where it should be.

Good stuff
I'm using it for photo frames, magnet knives holder, for shelves planning to check how they would look like before installing permanently.Bad:- You should remove it SLOWLY or you will get a piece of the wall or paint with it.- Once cut it's really troublesome to separate adhesive part from the plastic strip.Good:- It's extremely convenient- no traces after removal (if you lucky enough to keep paint/wall in place)

Not very sticky
Poor adhesion. In fact I found the tape generally came off again just when peeling the second sticky side cover. Wish I'd not bought it
