J Devlin Kal 103 Tumble Wheel Kaleidoscope Blue with Glass Chips Gift

This is a beautiful little fun addition to anyone's coffee table. I bought it as a gift for a director friend and he really seemed to like it. The slag glass seems well-soldered, sturdy and well-done. A great unique gift.

For me a little lacking in the patterns it makes but wife said she loved the gift. But what else is she going to say..... am I right guys? lol.

The Kaleidoscope was a gift to a friend who admired mine, and she was so surprised and pleased with it. The colors were spectacular and looks so beautiful to have sitting out on a coffee table or a bedroom piece to pick up and take a look through, just to brighten your day! I would buy it again and give it with great confidence that it would be loved and appreciated.

Kaleidoscope looks attractive with respect to the triangular body and glass. The limitation is the round rotating glass enclosure containing the colored chips. The two sides of the enclosure seem to be secured with black electricians tape around the circumference. I was hoping for a cleaner and more elegant solution. Mine may have been atypical in that the tape was scuffed and appeared as though it was staring to unravel. It is a minor issue- but it does detract from the beauty of the kaleidoscope from my perspective. The color wheel also slides back and forth on a short extension rod that looks a bit strange and serves no useful purpose because it doesn't alter the view in any way. Was it there in error? Seller has not responded to multiple inquiries.

Produce came as advertised in good wrapping, great for a gift. Very easy purchase. You spin the glass chips at the bottom. Very cool!

I bought 2 of these as gifts for my (young adult) daughters. They both were so excited when they opened them, although I had to tell them what it was - they'd only ever seen the toy cardboard kaleidoscopes with bits of plastic that you twist. They thought they were beautiful and "cool" and nice pieces of art to display in their homes.
