Spent 3 months backpacking South America with this. Never got flagged at any airline for being too big, but it definitely fills up every inch of space the airlines allow! (Which is exactly what I wanted)Keeps its shape quite well, which I've learned really helps with back support (tip: use packing cubes to pack things in side to side tighter; this really distributes the weight well and doesn't have weight out your back downward!) Has been very durable. Being able to tuck in the straps was really important for all of the buses and planes I've been on. The water bottle holder isn't huge, but it is at least very sturdy (not going to rip!) Opening sideways like a suitcase is FAR superior to normal backpacks. Zippers seems durable. Seems water resistant enough. Adjustable in 3 ways which is nice for adjusting weight. Colors look great. Looks very professional but not showy (important to keep a low profile in Colombia if you get me). Highly recommend

Il vient d'arriver donc pas encore testé sur la durabilité, je reviendrai après utilisationMais à première vue: wow!!-Identique aux photos-semble bien cousu avec coutures en X-vraiment trèèès grand mais comme il est quand même mou, si je ne le remplis pas je pense que ca se tiendra moins bien car pas de possibilité de le rapetisser-Je cherchais un sac pour mettre mon portable 17 pouces, mon stock de caméras (photographe professionnelle) et des vêtements car je me déplace souvent plusieurs jours à l'extérieur en auto et parfois en avion-L'espace pour l'ordinateur est directement sur le dos contrairement à certaines photos du produit (j'ai le 48 litres donc possiblement le 38 litres est différent)-Il pourrait être plus épais pour la protection ordi mais quand même très acceptable-J'aurais aimé que la poche dans le dos qui permet de l'installer sur une valise roulante soit fermable des 2 cotés pour mettre passeport avec acces rapide comme ils le suggèrent mais seul un coté a un zipper...bizarre..-Le seul truc qui je pense va être un petit-moyen possible désagrément c'est le haut des bretelles qui est trop serré (je suis une femme 5.7 -215 livres donc si j'étais plus petite ca ne serait peut etre pas un soucis)mais ca me serre dans le couje pense que de toute facon un fois la valise remplie, elle sera lourde a porter sur le dosdonc contente d'avoir l'option bandoulière-le bas du sac a un fond extérieur en matériel plus résistant et surement waterproof donc on peut le déposer debout sans crainte-ma bouteille d'eau de 1.5 litres rentre parfaitement dans la poche de coté et ce meme en hauteur ce qui est toujours un soucis sur les sacs a dos et elle tombait tout le temps donc good job enfin!J'ai passé des heures sur Amazon pour trouver LE sac parfait pour moi et je pense que je l'ai trouvé!!en plus pour un prix plus que raisonnable en bas de 100$Je m'en vais le remplir de ce pas pour mon prochain déplacement demain :)Je reviendrai commenter après utilisation!

The bag looks roomy and well made but the weight is not as the seller answered to someone else (1.3 kg). The weight is 1.78 kg (3.9 lbs). I have an old spinner carry-on (Samsonite Short-lite that is 40 L and 1.6 kg. I need a backpack that is lighter than my spinner. And I have a 38 L MEC backpack that is .57 kg, it's just a bit too small and does not have a hip strap. I was really looking for a backpack over 43 liters and under 1.35 kg. Unfortunately, it is not this bag. European and Asian airlines have weight limits of 7 kg max for carry-on. I need my bag to be really light.

Hypothetically: you’re told by your partner that you can’t bring a rolling bag on a multiple-week-long trip to Europe. Enter: this bag. Despite me being a serial overpacker, I was able to fit two weeks of clothes and more in the 48L version, and honestly, it wasn't that heavy.This backpack is built perfectly. The main compartment is not overly divided. This means you can put your clothes in packing cubes, play Tetris, and then perfectly secure everything down with the built-in cinching straps.The “lid” side can nicely separate out the items that you want to lie flatter, or easily zip up your dirty laundry as you travel. The outer zippers are great for those items you’d like to access mid travel but you might not have room for in your pockets.The laptop sleeve by your back is well padded and perfectly placed for good weight distribution. All the zippers except the very outer one have room for a small lock so you always feel secure. This is a good one.I really recommend this bag for a 1-2 week trip. I tried a lot of higher-end zip up backpacks ahead of my trip, but this one beat them all in terms of features, comfort and space. Looking forward to using this one for years to come.

There are so many pockets in this pack, I do need to be careful to not get it too full. The great thing is I can use it as a backpack so it will be easier to carry.
