not too shabby
So this is a cheap keyboard, my expectations were not high. It comes with a keycap puller which is nice. The caps come off pretty easy, they include extra caps of different color so I was able to swap them out to match the image. I really like the color combos. Aesthetically speaking it looks sharp. For such a cheap keyboard, the backlights are nice, however, the different color keycaps mute the backlight depending on the color of the caps. Some allow more/less light to shine through. Typing experience is "ok" they are mechanical but the switches are not hot swappable. The action is not bad, but I'm not a huge fan either. I wanted to take the keyboard apart to see if I could play with the insulation and damping but it seems like the screws holding it together are all under the key caps so you'd have to remove a bunch of them to get it apart which I'm just not terribly inclined to do it. The sound is a bit hollow, "thocky" or "creamy" this is not. However, it's mechanical, I can type very fast, overall I like the feel and for the money? I mean... It came with a decent cord, it types, and it does keyboard things. You really can't complain. Now having said all that this is a 65% I think? I am going to use it in a very small space so size is great, I love it, but... I miss a legit F-row of keys. I don't care for this layout. I will get a larger keyboard next time. This is a budget keybaord, switches are not hot swappable, it has decent heft, 2 levels of rear risers, for the cost, really, it's a decent option if you like this size/format of keyboard. It's really small.***Recently I saw a question from someone who bout this keyboard about alt+0224 type key combos*** Since I wasn't with the keyboard I couldn't answer but now I can't find the email. I suspect that because the top row of keys is combined with the F-keys that in order to make the ascii type combos you will need alt+FN+0224 or whatever the 4 digit combo is that you're after. See if that works. Since the user didn't post which one he was trying to create I couldn't try it myself but I suspect this will get you there.

Awesome Keyboard
Very nice keyboard with a good backloght that makes working in the dark perfect, perfect value for $30 and overall very responsive. The buttons feel awesome and include some extra keypads for free, does make a bit of noise but not to much.

My opinion on this keyboard
Good keyboardSome keys died after a bit of useDon’t drop it as you can risk breaking the USBC portDon’t use any other cables besides what’s givenHas cool lightsSounds greatComes with additional stuff likeKeycapsAnd a keycap pullerIt’s not a membrane keyboard it’s a mechanical.Honestly a good keyboard for the priceBut you would be better off investing more money for a better keyboardAs I had to buy two keyboards with the same issues after using it for a bit.

Solid Performance in a Compact Package
I recently purchased the MageGee Portable 60% Mechanical Gaming Keyboard, and overall, I'm quite satisfied with its performance.Firstly, the compact design of this keyboard is a significant selling point. The 60% form factor means it takes up minimal space on my desk, making it perfect for gaming setups with limited room or for on-the-go use. Despite its small size, the keys feel sturdy and responsive, providing a satisfying typing and gaming experience. The mechanical switches offer a nice tactile feedback, enhancing the overall typing experience. However, it's worth noting that the sound level might be a bit louder than some users prefer, especially in quieter environments. The LED backlighting is a nice touch, providing customizable lighting effects to match your gaming setup or personal preferences. The brightness levels are adjustable, allowing for comfortable use in various lighting conditions. In terms of compatibility, the MageGee Portable 60% Mechanical Gaming Keyboard works well with the Xbox Series X.Overall, the MageGee Portable 60% Mechanical Gaming Keyboard offers solid performance in a compact package. While it may not have all the bells and whistles of more expensive keyboards, it delivers a satisfying typing and gaming experience at a reasonable price point.

I love this keyboard!
I wanted a keyboard for travel with a pad. I'm super-fussy about keyboards because I write for a living. I wanted the smallest possible keyboard with a mechanical touch. (I really hate laptop-style keyboards with no "feel".) This is it. The keys are full size, so don't be confused by the "60% size" product description--that just refers to the overall footprint. The space-saving design omits F1 through F12 keys but you can get them by pressing the Fn key with keys 1 through 0 , -, and =. The tab, caps lock, shift keys, and enter keys are normally sized; there is no compromise there. The enter, backslash, and backspace keys are also full size. The cursor keys are well placed. The one compromise is they omitted Home and End keys, but PgUp, PgDn, Ins, and Del are all there.Backlight is activated by pressing Fn with cursor-up or cursor-down. There are four levels of brightness (plus you can switch it off), and you can also activate some entertaining lighting effects which I found unnecessary. My one complaint is that the keyboard is a little bit heavy for traveling. But the size is perfect and the key touch is just perfect. This keyboard has received some negative views which I find confusing. A couple reviewers complain that the keyboard has an auto-off feature, but mine doesn't have that; it stays on. A reviewer complained about poor manufacturing finish, but the finish on my keyboard here is excellent.I hardly ever give 5 stars to anything, but this keyboard deserves it.
