Some holes didn’t align perfectly and required some force for assembly, but everything came together in the end. The seller was very responsive, and we resolved any issues smoothly. The piece has a high-quality feel with a great retro vibe.

UPDATE: I initially gave this review 2 stars but have upgraded it to 4 stars because of how the chair has performed since I assembled it, and because of the customer service I received.First, my review below mentioned one chair missing a foot pad and being wobbly as a result. I was initially unable to contact the seller on this platform to report the problem, which added to my frustration. However, they reached out to me immediately after reading my review, and swiftly sent me new replacement footpads. They were very polite and also interested in learning how they could improve.Secondly, I do stand by how crazy tough the assembly process of the chairs was - which I detail in my original review. And I still believe they should be sold fully assembled because of this. But now that I’ve been using them regularly for some time, I can report that they are truly excellent chairs. Comfy to sit on for extended periods even if I’m working on my computer all day. I’m very impressed with the final product.—————-I’ve always liked this style of Cesca chair and wanted to add them to both ends of my dining table. The green velvet cushions also looked like a great match for our couch.PROS:- The chairs do look just as pictured, and are beautiful once assembled.- The cushions are firm yet comfortable to sit on.- The chairs are overall, very comfy and ideal as dining chairs or for a desk.- The velvet feels soft and silky, and is easy to clean.CONS:- Both chairs were a NIGHTMARE to assemble. I was expecting an easy assembly process given how few steps there are, but it took my husband and I almost 2 hours and our arms felt like they might fall off by the end of it. Halfway through, we became convinced that the chairs were impossible to assemble and that we would have to put these in the trash. The holes between the cushions and the metal bars did not align on both chairs, and it took a combination of sheer brute force, endless willpower, and numerous different configurations (undoing all our work, turning the cushion the other way around, tipping the chair in different ways on the floor as we pushed and bent the bars while we tried to jam the screws in, balancing the chair upside down on a bench, etc.) before we were able to succeed. We were thoroughly exhausted, angry, and close to a divorce by the end of it.- After our considerable efforts to put the chairs together, we discovered to our dismay that one chair is wobbly because it arrived missing a white round plastic chair pad under the bottom metal bar (see photos). I tried to see if the seller could send us the missing piece but because the item was shipped by Amazon, the messaging system won’t allow us to contact the seller. The only option is to return/exchange the entire product, which there is NO WAY we are going to do, because getting sent a new set of chairs means having to start this horror show of an assembly process all over again with no guarantee of success a second time.This is probably a 2 person job. Judging by other reviews, many others also had trouble assembling this and had the same issue with misaligned holes.If you are brave enough to order this product and embark on the assembly, I recommend the following steps. First, turn the chair upside down on a bench (with the cushion resting on the bench). Then, insert the screws only in one hole on each bar and tighten until the bar and cushion are secure - but don’t tighten all the way. Leave some wiggle room. Then, use a flashlight to determine how to get the other two holes to line up (one at a time). Once you see just how they are misaligned and how to course correct, one person needs to use all the strength they can muster to force the metal bar and the cushion in the correct directions (to get their holes closer towards alignment) while the second person frantically twists the screw in until it feels secure. Be prepared for a lot of failure. It may take numerous attempts before this actually works.If you gave up altogether, I wouldn’t blame you.
