Great model
They’re really cool and realistic. My only knock is the paint durability isn’t perfect. Let’s be honest though, they’re hand painted so if you’re looking for something your toddler is going to throw around maybe go with something cheaper until they are at an appropriate age. I have a 3 year old with autism and he really loves these things, especially the spinosaurus. On occasion they don’t stand up well on uneven surfaces, but I wouldn’t let that discourage me from buying several different dinosaurs. My kid loves them,

LOOK AT THAT DETAIL!
This is the real version! I bought the knockoff one from gemini brand, but this one is the true one! Just like the spino from JP3 really nice details! Paint job and great quality!

Exactly like the one in Jurassic Park III
The first thing my son said was "This looks exactly like the one in Jurassic Park." I must agree. This is a nicely detailed rendition of what Spinoaurus is believed to look like. Even the inside of the moth has details! The movable mouth is fun to play with. When I was shopping for a Spinosaurus, I could not believe the variation in appearance among the various Spinosaurus toys available. Some don't even look like a Spinosaurus to me. Speaking of "toys", while this is suitable as a toy, it could also be used for a collector's display. It is solid, detailed, and large. It is, using eye-ball measurements, approximately a foot long by 7 inches high. It has a nice weight to it as well.As far as quality goes, an extreme amount of detail is present, as I have already mentioned. There are some seams visible, where the different pieces were glued together, which is somewhat disappointing, depending on what your perspective is on this. We bought it as a toy, so its really not a big deal.Overall, this is a fantastic gift for any dinosaur fan. I will probably buy more from this brand, especially since my son loves them so much. This is the first Papo manufactured dinosaur I have ever purchased, and it was worth the money paid.

A great addition to our start up collection
I love this Spinosaurus. He's big and scary and his jaw works really well. Nice detail in the teeth and tongue and skin. My 4 year old has played with it plenty and it has held up so far, but I would be cautious about how much rough play it will stand. The first one I received had a broken back foot. I'd barely printed the return label when I received it's replacement - so great customer service. But the fact that it's foot was broken tells me that it may not withstand the roughest play, so maybe the ToyRUs big rubbery dinosaurs are more suitable for rough and tumble young ones. But it's great looking and a perfect size and, well, I guess I only have good things to say about it. I'm glad I got it.

Very good dinosaur toys.
These Papo dinosaurs are by far the best dinosaur toy/sculpts I've ever bought. I'm an artist by trade and the quality of each toy blows me away. Very detailed sculpts, wrinkles, scales and skin stretching are all visible. The paint job is always extremely well done. It seems to be a combination of ink wash, dry brush and airbrushing where needed. The small scale detail really pops when given this paint treatment. The toys are made of a very durable plastic, but you might not want to be rough with them because there are some very thin areas on a few dinos. Arms and fingers of the theropods could break off. Hasn't happened to any of mine yet and my kids play with them, but not harshly.I'm going to be duplicating this review for all of the papo dinos that look really good.

Very detail and nice
I ordered this dinosaurs for my 6 years old son and he loved it very much. I have waited after 1 months to write my review so I have enough evaluation about it. The delivery was excellent even it was shipped from USA to Singapore. This Papo Spinosaurus looks exactly as what my son watched from BBC Planet Dinosaurs. It is also very durable (I was a bit nervous since I read some comment about the arm broken from other reviewers). The size is pretty fine, it is bigger than Schleich T-rex and it is consistent since Spinosaurus is the biggest killer Dino (in the beginning I also considered the Schleich Spinosaurus but seems it is smaller). The color and the detail are also perfect.

It's nice but it has some flaws
I have always wanted this figure ever since I was around 9 years old when I saw it on a Hobby Lobby shelf. That was 7 years ago. Now I finally have it and can enjoy how cool it really is. The figure is mostly a gray color with slight black wash to make the scales pop and bring out little details like the texture or the folds in the skin and sail. The sail has a bit of rainbow color design and the colors yellow, red, and blue are faintly noticeable on the side of the sail. The pose is nice and isn't boring or to extra. I like how the head is lower with the tail being more upward as the dino is in a half leaned down position. The claws are nicely painted and the eyes are a lime green and have a wet look as well as the mouth. The sculpt is well done and resembles the Spino from JP3. But I have had this toy for about 2 months now and I have noticed that it is fragile and the paint seems to scratch off in areas like the top of the sail, tip of tail, nose, and claws. He has fallen off my cabinet due to it being bumped. And I noticed he was missing some paint on his arm that almost touches the ground. It's like the hand is painted a dark grey but then stops at the wrist and is this almost whiteish tan color. This is probably only on my copy but it's still kind of weird as I looked more some other areas seemed to lack the slight black wash like other areas had. It's not super noticeable so I wasn't worried. This is an amazing figure and is good for collectors and kids alike. And if you don't like JP3 or its spino who killed the trex you can always reenacted the fight between the two and get revenge on the poor Rex by making your papo rex take down the papo spino!! Either way highly recommend the Papo dinos they might not be point on accuracy to science but the figures still look amazing and if you like Hollywood's rendition on dinos then these figures are for you.
