Upgraded ATS25max DECODER Portable Shortwave Radio,4.16 Version Adds CW,RTty Decoding Function,Four Audio Spectrum,WiFi Function,Full Bands Ham Radio Receiver with 2.4 inch Color Touching Screen

I already have an ATS-25 max, (Jstvro build) which to my surprise when upgrading it to version 4.1.6 Air (release version, paid) WiFi worked. I opened it up and found the WiFi module has an internal antenna and has so-so connectivity due to the lack of a proper antenna and being housed in aluminum.I really wanted this new version, the max-Decoder - Jstvro build, so I didn't hesitate to buy it.It was completely deaf to WiFi signals. I opened it up and found the WiFi antenna lead just swinging in the breeze. No way this could be a shipping issue, when I connected the antenna myself it snapped on very securely and there's no way the antenna lead would fall off on its own. The encoder wheel is also off center giving a wobbly experience. WiFi is strong, and it announced to me that a firmware upgrade is available.(This unit also shipped with 4.1.6 Beta, and I had to upgrade this out of the box with the release version. once connected to WiFi and getting notified).It does work as advertised, the decoder hardware works, I'm decoding CW and the FT8 formats without issue. The build quality between my first and second purchase is quite noticeable.

I had to watch a few videos on this model overall but was super happy to see all the amazing features and options it gives you. I cannot really try to cover all the bits and options it gives that I tested - but I was happy with everything I tried.Good reception without a bigger antenna even - I was happy with that.Love the settings menu - and the screen to see the data and audio recieved.Awesome - just amazing radio

I'm Enjoying This Radio...But You Need A Good Long Wire Antenna To Receive Short Wave, Ham Bands Etc.Very Good Quality Build Radio... Excellent Screen, Also Mine Came With The Latest Update Software 4.17Out Of The Box...I'm Really Having Alot Of Fun Listening All Over The World With This Radio!!!
