I'd had acid reflux for years, and this mattress elevator has been a game changer in better sleep. Without it, I woke suddenly several times a night from acid reflux, but now I sleep well and wake feeling refreshed.I set it in the middle of both mattresses, and that is where I like it best—it provides you with a slight incline that is comfortable and supportive. I tried placing it on top of the mattress as well, and it did make a difference, but I liked it better when it was in the middle of the mattresses.The quality is great, it doesn't shift around, and it provides just the right level of lift to keep me comfortable without making me feel like I'm sleeping at a weird angle. If you suffer from acid reflux, snoring, or any condition that is alleviated by head elevation, I would strongly recommend this product. It's a very straightforward but life-changing solution!

This mattress elevator is a simple solution to help with night time acid reflux. Mine has greatly improved since using it. At first, I tried it on top of my mattress, and although a bit soft for my taste, it was pretty comfortable. However, my sheets were constantly popping off, and it was annoying having to fix that every morning. Then I decided to make the effort to put it under my mattress. It solved the sheet issue and did not seem to affect the firmness off my mattress (a good thing bc I like the feel of my current mattress). Occasionally I have to recenter the mattress over the incline bc it will slide down a bit over time, but it's nothing too crazy. Maybe once or twice a month? You can see in the picture what I'm talking about near the headboard. I don't think there's anything to be done to fix that with the design bc, ya know, gravity is a thing. This is 100x better than using one of those half wedge pillows in the bed. If those give you acid reflux relief but are otherwise uncomfortable (like giving you back/hip/shoulder pain), this is the solution for you. It does make the bed higher to get in to, so if you are petite, you may need to add a step stool or get a lower bed frame.

I bought this wedge for acid reflux and the wedge along with medication and lifestyle changes has helped with my symptoms . Initially bought a wedge for upper torso only , but didn’t like the incline. I bought this product in which the angle is gradual , yet still high enough at the head to help with symptoms . Only negatives are that although it has anti-slip cover, the mattress tends to migrate off the bed slightly during the night . Also , the twin size overtook the queen bed and my husband had so little room, so I trimmed the mattress straight down in one side seven inches and now we both have enough room. It is also slightly warm, but that may be due to the warm weather we are having . It has a nice soft washable cover . Been using since I received it !

This has been great for myself and my husband, as we both have acid reflux. We put ours under our mattress and it really stays in place. It's firm enough that it holds up to both of us in bed, not sinking under our weight of 400 pounds. The cover looks fine with no sheet over it, and the pad is exactly queen sized (not too big or too small), and it truly tapers to almost nothing at the foot of the pad (about 1/4 inch).My only wish is that they made one only 3 inches high at the head, as 5 inches creates quite the slope.

Placed it under our mattress and overall we’re very pleased with it. Does exactly what it says it does: elevates the taller end by 5 inches. I do feel as though my sleep has been better, and heart burn at night has certainly improved. Quality is pretty good. Would recommend as a mattress elevator.

The mattress seems a little too high. I end up sliding down till my feet stick out the bottom.

Product shipped quickly. Exactly as described. Firm and exactly to size. Being used primarily for GERD. Being used under current mattress. Non slip bottom very beneficial. No odor.

Does the job I bought it for - due to hubby's health, doc recommended that he sleep with his head elevated, but not with a pillow which might cause him to bend at his waist. This was the best way to accomplish that. Hubby says he does sleep better with this. We placed it between the box & regular mattress so it won't shift around.
