Works great for aerial rigging
Love that it's a 2-pack altho we only have one aerial rigging point at home. Easy to fill, heavy duty fabric and strap. Would definitely buy again.

Easy enough to fill, heavy enough for my use. Feel pretty well made.

Works well
I've completely re-outfitted my camera equipment after replacing my trusty Canon SX40hs with a Panasonic Lumix FZ2500. The Lumix is substantially larger and heavier, weighing in at almost a kilo.I replaced my 30+ year old Manfrotto Bogen Tripod, which weighed a ton, with a carbon fiber, lightweight replacement tripod. The first thing I noticed was that the new tripod, as well as others I looked at, have leg angles of 22°, which is less than the Manfrotto. I doubt I'll ever extend the Tripod to its maximum height of 68". I rarely extend it to eye level. But even with it at 48", I feel uncomfortable using it without counterweight. The Tripod has a built-in hook for counterweight. I bought the set of 2 bags. I only need one. Each bag is separated into 2 completely zippered compartments. The set comes with 4 plastic bags; you need 2 plastic bags.I filled each of 2 plastic bags with 1 kg of pea gravel, resulting in a total of 2 kg of counter weight. You can see the bag hanging from the Tripod hook, by one of the two included carabiners. The counterweight makes the Tripod much harder to tip; it also substantially dampens vibrations from wind or triggering the shutter release without a remote. For $9, they were an excellent investment to protect my equipment.

Sturdy and easy
Very easy to fill. I used sand and put them on the base of Halloween animatronic figures where there there was no place to use stakes. Even in high winds they didn’t fall.

Good quality
Theses are a great size. I was able to put 10 pounds of sand in each side to make 20 pound sandbags, which was better than I hoped. The snap hooks are aluminum and a little flimsy. The zip lock bags to hold the sand were a nice addition to help prevent leakage. The zippers are good quality, but because they have 2 pulls on the zipper they need the plastic bag or they will leak. The other ones I purchased have two different zippers on each section to better seal the contents in the bag.

Used to anchor trees in planter
These were used to anchor artificial trees in planters on our front porch. In spite of significant wind trees remained in place. Satisfied with their performance.

Super good quality
I save a lot of money in this purchase, I bought this kit of eight, And I bought three sand bags in Lowe’s or Home Depot or 50 pounds each and three bags I got eight! The best for the money

Exactly What I was Looking for
The sandbags seem to be a good quality. The plastic bags they provide as inserts for holding the sand could be thinker. You might be better using a Zip Lock or Hefty Bag instead but that doesn't detract from the product. I filled the bags with small ground pebbles instead of sand and the bags are holding up well. I'm using them to anchor down a patio table in my lanai for the Florida hurricane season because it's the table is too heavy and big to move into the garage.
