This is connected to a THREE LTE router, the Zyxel NR5103 5G Router. This router has 4 x TS9 connections on the rear of the unit to enable the connection of a 4×4 MiMo 5G Antenna (or a combination of 5G antennas to suit). Make sure to slide the selector switch to EXTernal to choose the external antennas. Ports 1 & 3 had the biggest effect. 1 at the top. The download speed was marginally improved, however the upload speed went from 20mbps to 100 mbps. The attached screen shots are from my router. The before with an RSSI of -87 and the after with -79. It might not sound much but this is a logarithmic value. I have used the sucker pad to hold it on the window, and it's working fine. This wont be the same for everyone, if you have the best signal you wont benefit, if you have no signal it wont help, if you have some signal it may improve things, it certainly has for me, one handy aspect is I can now move the router out of the window.
