Folding Yoga Travel Pilates Mat

I was a little concerned when I bought it that the folds would be annoying when it was opened up but it turns out you don't notice them at all. It is a very comfortable thickness for yoga and all other exercises and has two features that are terrific. First, it somehow has far more friction on your feet and hands than all previous mats I've had. You plant your feet and they stay exactly where you put them so you feel much more secure when stretching or balancing. Second, the material seems to be stronger in the sense of never wearing or losing little bits as happens with most mats over time. I was a little concerned, too, that when folded up it would be bulky for travel but it turned out to be great to travel with -- I simply unfolded enough to lie flat in the suitcase and use it as a divider between different bags of clothes, etc.

Lightweight to carry, but thick enough for yoga practice, folds easily so very convenient, does the job.

The surface of the mat is super slippery. This is no good fit yoga or workouts.
