Sturdy but great looking. I did not build a conventional railing for my 3 stairs, but I noticed older people needed something to grab a hold of something to hoist themselves up. So I put in the 2 post and put these handles on the side for them to grab and pull up on, keeping my look rustic and unique while still serving their purpose well. They needed to be sturdy, while being attractive. I was trying to save my etched windows by the stairs. People would grab for those and they were hardly fastened down due to almost nothing to secure them to. They would have broken them and hurt themselves in the process. So I'm very happy to have the handles to save those windows, keep people safe while giving them something solid to grab onto. I would highly recommend them.I ordered another set for my back stairs

Put on sliding doors to closets and entry/exit to kitchen. Outstanding look, excellent grip for all ages, and perfect weight for each door. Excellent quality at a fair price. Installation was quite easy. The width is perfect as the doors slide and still provide clear view of what is inside the closet. Very pleased.

I got these for an interior kitchen door. It fits nicely into the theme of the house, which I will describe as "rustic", which is just a nice way of saying old. The house has some character, chips and nicks and some old-style farmhouse doorknobs that have the old fashioned key in the cartoon-style keyhole. These handles look like they belong among that stuff. They're heavy, wrought iron like a cemetery fence. I wouldn't expect to beat the crap out of them in an industrial application because they'd probably snap off the base (it's a two-piece design and the handle screws onto the base plate). But in regular decor use 99% of the time, should meet your expectations.

I absolutely love these handles. They are sturdy and add style to my building. I previously ordered a set for the front doors of my greenhouse, and loved them so much that I ordered a second set for the new back doors too.

I have it mounted on the Cedar door to our sauna. The handle is excellent and really looks good in contrast to the tongue and groove. Would absolutely buy again!
