If people remember to lock the door the indicator shows the bathroom is occupied. If the door is unlocked it shows the bathroom is available. Eliminates the "is anyone using the bathroom" question. The handle seems durable and easy to bypass the lock from outside if necessary (emergency condition).

Does the job, but felt lightweight compared to other commercial locks. I’m sure it will last for years before failure but just didn’t have the weight and size as other commercial locks installed. The bezel covers were a little smaller than the commercial lock it replaced so it left a ring of unpainted wood

The media could not be loaded. Not worth it. Junk cheap quality. Not worth more than 10$ cheap junk. Flimsy. Poor quality.

Liked the design. Switching handle sides was straight forward. Installed easily.

Might be a good purchase for those on a tight budget and personal use, but not recommended for commercial use if you're purchasing for a client's door.

This is a very fun lock/door lever to have. We put it on our garage door and the kids think it is the coolest thing ever! I would give this door lever a 5-star rating, but the installation is a bit tricking. It took me an hour to get it right. There is a little section on switching the handle from right side to left side so if you need that (I did), follow those instructions. In that switching process you have to push the handle back on to the level...you may have to press really hard to get the pin to reengage...I ended up using a soft mallet to coerce it back in place. The instructions are pretty good but the actual mechanisms in the handle don't function as nicely as they should. Once it was installed though, it looked and functioned great! I would recommend this product to anyone with a little installation experience but not for a first-time experience.

Great price of commercial grade

I will remind everyone that this is for a commercial door. This will not fit a regular household door. These are meant for thicker commercial doors with the exact backset listed in the description. (Buy the one that matches your backset). This is a stainless steel handle set. When you turn the thumb knob on the inside, the small little indicator on the outside of the door changes from vacant to occupied. Really a unique lock set. I installed it a couple weeks ago, provided you have a commercial door, it’s super simple and the directions are really easy. So far after a couple weeks it’s held up just fine. It’s kind of a nice touch to know if someone is in the bathroom without having to jiggle the door. I have no reason to believe this isn’t going to hold up just fine as it’s pretty solid metal. Will update this review if issues develop in the future.
