Amazing product, I highly recommend it. I coach a total of three high school level softball teams and these are what we use inside when we are practicing on hard gym floors that school districts don’t want damaged. They feel nearly real, but don’t scuff the floor!

My daughter has been playing softball for the last 5 years. These softballs might be ok for beginners but there true intent is for use indoors. You can use these softballs in a gym without worrying that you will bust out windows or damage gym equipment.Notes-- Pretty real feel for the players. Clearly they are not the same as a true softball, but they are the correct size and will stick in your glove.- if you need a confidence ball these will work for that too. I wouldn't want one of these to hit me directly in the face, but it would be better than a real softball.- High quality - these balls are from Rawlings. We have not had any issues with them ripping, tearing, or going out of balance.- Again, they are ideal for indoor practice, soft toss, or playing in smaller places while still maintaining something that is pretty close to a real thing (unlike plyo or wiffle balls).

Real softballs are actually hard, but these balls are truly SOFT - yet they feel very close to the real thing with a decent amount of density. Great for practicing.My daughter first started playing softball last year and I found these were a great way to build up her catching confidence. Because these are the same size as a regulation hard softball they can build their muscle memory without that fear of getting hit impeding skill development. My daughter improved her skills dramatically once the fear of getting hit with the hardball went away.These are slightly heavier than a regular softball and their soft design will absorb some of the energy of a bat for hitting so they won't travel as far. Having used these for a few seasons they really hold up well to abuse. All in they're a great practice tool especially for younger kids just starting out.

Finally got to use these with my 11 year old daughter for some pitching and hitting practice. They are very durable and feel great in the hand.

The Rawlings Incredi-Ball softstich softballs are great! They came as a set of 12 and were all individually wrapped. The quality is awesome and they are very well constructed. The balls are slightly soft and squishy to the touch and are slightly heavier than a standard softball. My daughter really enjoys these practice softballs for her indoor training in the winter. They hit well but don't go quite as far as a standard ball. Fielding is decent and playing catch is very good. This is a great set for your practice needs!

I chose these Rawlings practice softballs for my granddaughter as she plays softball and my son is her coach. They are always practicing whether it be in the yard at my house, their house or on the field. The comment I hear most is that they cannot have enough practice balls. I originally thought that these were actual game softballs, not practice softballs, which are different in that they are softer than a regular softball and are generally used for batting practice. The practice balls are just slightly heavier than a regular game softball so they absorb and they don't tend to travel as far when hit. This wasn't a problem and it turned out that these practice balls are very helpful. The bright yellow color is great as it makes the balls easy to see especially if the ball is coming at you fast. It also makes them easy to see on the field or if one winds up in the woods. The fact that the set comes with 12 individual practice balls is also great and each ball is individually wrapped. They are a little pricey, but you get a lot of balls for your money. Overall, I am pleased with this product.
