Q: How much to use to make 1 gallon batch?

That's a good question. Each pack can make between 5 and 8 gallons but you will need to use a higher concentration if your recipe requires it. So, for 1 gallon, you could just use as little as 1/5th of a pack or more if you have a stronger recipe. Thanks!

Q: Is one packet enough for a 5 gallon batch of cider?

Great question. If you are making an average strength cider, then just follow the guidelines on the package which is 1 pack per 20 to 30L (5 to 8 gallons). If you are making a higher strength cider, then you can certainly use 2 packs per batch. Thanks!

Thank you for your inquiry. The Safcider yeast will go up to 11% depending on all of the variables.
