With the help of this kit I installed a 14' square sun sail shade over my patio, using the hardware in this kit. I mounted the attachments vertically and used a combination of hardware as needed. I used the wood anchors with the screws and I was pleased with how securely each point felt after installation. We have fairly good winds, and while putting it up, I battled them a bit, but I'm not concerned as overall the metal seems solid (no bend) and the turnbuckles worked as expected.I like that this kit came with more than enough hardware for my project, and I didn't need to run out and get anything to get my sail installed. I would recommend this kit to anyone looking to install a sun sail shade or similar.

Great shade sail mounting kit.Would be better if it included 2 more carabiners, 2 more tension hooks, some nylon braided rope, and Torx bit, and Torx screws for metal/wood/cement applications (but can purchase separately from HD).Most shade sails need at least 6 points of connection to be stabilized in the breeze/wind.Fingers crossed to see if the shade sail and hardware last the SoCal Santa Ana winds that kick up every year. Will update if the hardware falls apart or rusts.Note: Shade sail not included, purchased from HD.

Easy to use and can be tightened if your item stretches out some.

Used this kit for a 16' x 20' rectangular shade sail. The kit was easy to install, and the cables ended up being twice as long as I needed. I simply removed the cables on one end, and now I have back-up SS cables! Bonus!

This is a MUST when putting up sunshade sails. Instead of jacking with turnbuckles and not being able to get the sails tight enough, this kit does the trick! Be advised, this kit is more for a straight line pull, not angled. I made it work on an angle pull, but it took some work. But overall great setup!

Plenty of it but it’s cheaply made hardware. Don’t expect to much from it

Now we do have some wind, so over time it sqeaks sometimes but it has been holding up great.
