Great product. The depth of the vent outlet of the fan is 80mm. If going straight out from a wall there should be no issues but if there is a downstairs bathroom with a vent that travels through and out from a tunnel, chances are the depth of the hole may be less than 80mm. If this is the case, create a box of the necessary thickness to allow for vent clearance. bore out a hole in the centre of the box fit to the size fan tunnel, mount the box to the wall, then mount the fan to the box.Ensure the cable is long enough to reach the electrical connectors.A nice and quiet unit, extracts the air well. Factory timer is set to 2 minutes which the fan and light stays on when the main light is switched off and will power off once time limit is reached. This can be changed to a longer duration via the instruction manual.Overall, a nice unit. Does the job !Hope this help.

Terrible product - looks good, and worked well when it was working but only lasted 2 weeks. Now I can’t get the bloody thing off the ceiling and no instructions. Avoid at all costs
