EZ-FLO 70600 Nevercold Hot Water Recirculating Pump Kit, multi

This is an awesome product. Easy to install and works better than I imagined. Installed the return pipe in the bathroom furthest from the water heater. Before, I had to wait maybe 5 minutes for the water to get hot at the lavatory and shower. Now it's hot in less than 30 seconds. I had the same problem at the kitchen sink but no more. I notice a few people have given this product a poor score and I don't know the reason. I have a single story house so I don't know if you get the same performance in a two story. I will say this, if you need to turn off the water for any reason, you should unplug this unit because it will continue running without water circulating and may burn up the unit. I worked on my water for a non-related purpose and I could smell the unit. Luckily I turned the water back on before any damage occurred. It's still working great six months later.

Unit was very straightforward to install with simple tools. It was a return, resale by Amazon, and was missing some gaskets (which I already had spares) but all other hardware was there.After purging water through the pump, setting the timer and plugging it in, the pump worked as expected… for less than five hours.Unit pump stopped working entirely. Tried overriding with on/off/auto switch - nothing. Plug/unplug power - no change.I suspect the aquastat failed, but it was not possible to troubleshoot without disassembly… which I was not going to do.So I opted for return and refund, disappointed the unit failed so quickly.

didn't know such a simple device / concept could be so good! Effortless install, works as advertised, I now get shower hot water in 10 seconds not 2 minutes. It really only takes the pump ~5-10 minutes to make it hot. Put a smart switch on the pump and turn on just before shower- no real need to leave on for extended time, though using the timer may well prevent winter pipe freeze

I would have given a 5 star rating if the pump hadn't stopped operating after two months. I contacted customer service. They diagnosed the problem and sent me the replacement part. Upon installation of the replacement part, the sealing gasket leaked. I once again contacted customer service. They provided me with a new pump and additional gaskets. No fuss, no muss. The new pump is working nicely. Sometimes, an item is faulty. How the company deals with the customer with a faulty product says volumes. This company came through.

Initially, I was disappointed when the pump did not work correctly. But, when I called the toll-free number provided, the manufacturer provided full support, sent a replacement, and made sure I was very satisfied. My plumbing arrangement is not ideal for this application, but we can tell that the pump is making a difference in decreasing the time we need to run the hot water waiting for it to get warm. I highly recommend this product.
