Add automation to your window shades!
When you want to have an easy to use motorized shade, this is the one to pick up.The package comes with one powered rod, an extra set of rubber end, a USB cable for charing (long cable), and a really nice remote. This setup is also ZIgbee compatible which means that you can set up a home automation system or other switches to automate this shade if you want. For example, you can set this shade up to close at 9pm when you head to bed, and then automatically open up at 7am to wake you up!Read the instructions to figure out how to pair the zigbee system up or the RF remote. It was pretty simple for me overall.I have now purchased shades from several manufacturers. The key it to inform them the diameter size that you have for your motor so they know what size rod to use for your shade. Sometimes the manufacturers will use a thinner rod that will not let this motor slide in.Well worth the money. High quality construction. The remote is not a cheap version that come with other units. This is a nice unit and it has a wall mount as well for the remote.Once you have your shades motorize, you will wonder how you ever did without it!

Great support
The design and setup are not super intuitive and the packaging didn’t include a manual. I reached out to customer support and they emailed me the manual. Now everything works great. Thank you so much. I added the manual to this post for anyone running into this issue. Would also love to see the company come up with a 1” tube design.

Zigbee functions are sketchy
The blinds were easy to install the setup was easy to pair with the remote. I setup the Alexa functionality using Zigbee and that’s where the problems start. I have several automations through Alexa to open or close the blinds at sunset/ sunrise as well as voice commands. In all of these scenarios consistently of the 4 blinds I set up one or sometimes 2 will fail to work through Alexa. Sometimes they all work but that’s very rare.

Alexa turn off the blinds - Not ready for PRIME time
Update - October 10, 2023 roughly 45 days after installation. Battery life is a problem. Battery wand tubular motors (with RF remotes) installed on the same blinds would last 8+ months. This zigbee tubular motor lasted only 45 days max on a full charge. The size of the blind is not an issue. These motors do not hold their charge long enough for this to be a convenient option for hard to reach locations. I have three blinds controlled with these motors: two required re-charging at 30 days, one required re-charging (a larger blind) at 45 days. The manufacturer stated I should expect 1 - 3 months of performance. The product detail page stated 3 - 6 months. These blinds are located in my bathroom. I open in the morning and close at night. I do not use them excessively. 1 month of performance is not acceptable and conflicts with their statement. These remain the only zigbee motor on the market - sold by two different sellers on Amazon - that works with Alexa without a separate HUB. These are not ready for prime time and require further development.Review posted at the time of install - Aug 23, 2023I’ve been using tubular motors in my roller blinds for 10+ years as a DIY’er. FINALLY this tubular motor is a clean Alexa experience (as long as you have the Alexa smart hub). No more Broadlink or RF repeater required. It’s re-chargeable - no more battery wands hanging around. They even give you an extra set of mounting brackets. They also give you an extra set of tube caps. (The ones mounted don’t fit inside a 1.5” tube)The reason for the two star review - the integration with the Alexa app is bad. You still have to think of your blinds as if they are on or off - it should be open or closed. The instructions are horrible. I would love to help re-write these. It’s a very easy simple process. The instructions make it look much harder than it is. (1) pair the remote (2) set the upper limit (3) set the lower limit (4) have Alexa discover your device. (Now you can use Amazon’s instructions inside Alexa for how to manage your device).Would I buy these again? Yes - because I know how to set them up and there is no one else making this “no hub required” motor.Customer service is good, but the integration with Alexa is a programming issue that needs to be addressed.

Battery life is poor
I got 2 of these to sync with my Hubitat setup. After a lot of finagling, I was able to get them to work. However, the major problem is the battery life is very poor. After 2-4wks, the battery is dead and I have to plug it in to fully recharge. I have various other zigbee blinds that don't have this problem. On the Hubitat settings, I see that these motors send an inordinately high number of messages for some reason. I've tried different drivers with no improvement.

Works with Zigbee and Home Assistant, but a bit tedious to set up.
Would be nice if it included more detailed instructions. I was able to figure out how to use this and it's nice that it comes with a remote. My main application is to control it through Zigbee using home assistant. I'm still working on getting everything working smoothly. There are not that many Zigbee shade motors available. If I get this to work I will buy many more.

Good window blind motor kit
This is a pretty good window blind motor kit that was pretty easy to install because I have had experience installing other kits in the past. If you have problems with installation, I recommend watching YouTube videos. The remote works well and the battery lasts for about a month before being recharged. I am just using the remote control so I cannot comment on how well the Alexa integration works. In summary, I am pretty happy with this kit and I do recommend it, especially for people who have successfully installed this kind of kit in the past.

Not work on battery only by power supply
Being on batteries, Alexa, Google, home, etc apps or any form of control other than your original remote control does work, not receiver the signal for movement, the other brands that do work very good
