If you use this when your key fob is where it should be (centre consul). The car can't locate the key so you get warning from the car so I no longer use it.

I bought this item to fit in my 2018 Volvo XC60. It looks very neat when fitted between the cupholder as designed. It charges my iPhone 15 pretty quickly. However there is a downside. That is that the charging plate keeps overheating my iPhone 15 which then caused the phone to stop charging as the phone is too hot. I have to then remove the phone to cool down enough to continue to charge. The phone does get extremely hot to handle. I have had to remove the charging pad and go back to my USB-C charging cable. I cannot return the device as it's over 30 days old. Please be aware of the overheating issue as it may shorten the life of your phone. I don't have an Android phone to test it out, however I've heard that this unit may cause an issue with overheating as well.

This is advertised as a fast charger but in actual fact just keeps the phone on the same battery percentage as when it starts charging. This is because I have a case on my phone and I’m not going to take this off to charge. The iPhone then overheats to the point where it can’t be used.
