I was a bit sceptical at first with the reviews but glad it fit solidly for the Humanscale Liberty chair.No drillng needed and sticky pads are provided so you don't damage your chair as you tighten the pre-installed screws to it.The head rest won't touch your head when upright, and only comes into contact with your head on the lowest part of the recline.

The headrest is good quality, its look is in line with medium-priced office chairs.Provided the colour of the chair is similar, it will look like it is part of it.Quite unnecessarily, it comes in a plastic bag with different length screws. You push down the brackets on the chair's back and then turn the screws (an allen key is provided).The brackets rotate when you tight them up, which is really annoying.The supports barely fit my son's office chair. We had to push a lot because the metal brackets are thick and not flexible.Thing is, the back of the chair in question is not very thick, quite average or even thin.Some stick-on pads are provided to keep the screws from marring the chair's back, but they're thin and don't protect well. Placing them will require some preparations to mark the exact places.Once it's put together, it's stable and can slide up 5 cm or so. The headrest can also pivot vertically. A piece of mesh fabric is provided, which can be tucked around the brackets before fitting them, with some difficulty, hiding them effectively.The price is okay, but make sure your chair's back is thin enough for the brackets to fit in. If not, it's hard to make them fit bigger sizes. The additional longer screws are completely superfluous.I think they should have provided wider brackets to fit a wider range of chairs.

tried fitting it but it did not fit securely, was too wobbly, when I gave up and took it off saw that it had left marks on the chair.

it's perfect for my chair, I love it and I will recommend this anyone need headrest

Good quality but had to return as supplied fitting bracket will only fit over backs that are about 3/4inch thick. No good for my padded back seat
