Great gift for my granddaughter’s birthday. She’s five and had a mermaid themed party and loved this! It was great quality for a dress up and she loved all the extra accessories that came with it! She is tall and thin for a five-year-old. The costume was a little big around and pretty short, but she didn’t care. She was very happy!

Just like another reviewer stated, the sizing on this is awful. I ordered the 5-6 year. It showed up marked as "medium". The skirt is way to small for her. The other review compared it to a 4T, but it seems even smaller to me. The top is HUGE. I didn't try it on, but it looks like it would fit me. She loves the accessories, but I'm not sure what to expect if I order another size. Maybe it's just this size that is so off, thinking of trying the larger size to get a skirt that fits.Edit: Did order the larger size. This one arrived in a bag marked "large', but it is the same size as the medium!! The picture shows the medium on the left and the large on the right. I measured the skirt, it is 16 inches (both the large and the medium). She was able to stretch it to try it on, but told me it was way too tight. My slim 6 year old has a 22 inch waist, the problem is usually trying to keep things from falling down on her!
