Doesn't work
I found this didn't work. Either my Anker powerbank refused to play ball or the product is faulty. When connected to the powerbank 12V does NOT appear across the pins of the EOBD connector.

Keeps radio and other car memory settings
If you need to change car battery , this is great . With so many cars that have electronic devices that need power to keep memory, ( radio code, electric memory seats etc ) just plug in to OBD port.One green light will show. Connect a 12 volt supply ,( another car battery or 12 volt supply. ) Two green lights will show, Close all doors, make sure you keep car key in your pocket. And disconnect old battery, remove and fit new battery.Sadly my car has the battery inside the passenger compartment an A class Mercedes so not able to use it on this car

Nice idea, unfortunately didn't seem to work
I tried to use this when replacing the battery in my car. First issue was that power banks will not provided a continuous power supply to keep it running. Therefore I ran a cable with wall plug out to supply a powered USB port to it. However once I'd disconnected by car battery, despite everything being switched off in the car, this device still alarmed to inform me that it could not keep up with the current draw. Once I'd installed the new car battery, the clock time was reset, implying that this device hadn't worked. Therefore unfortunately I cannot recommend it.
