They're sturdy and, believe it or not, paintable if you want to add a realistic touch. 🌳🏰🎨 Diverse Figures: The army figures, while feeling a bit cheaper in quality, still offer good value. Plus, they can be painted too, adding a personal touch to your little soldiers! 🎨🎭💼 Handy Storage: The set comes in a durable bag with a zip for easy storage and transportation. But fair warning, it can be a challenging puzzle to fit everything back in once you take them out! 🧩🛄👎 Cons:🚩 Fiddly Assembly: Some items come attached to sprues or each other, making them a bit tricky to separate. You might need spue cutters or scissors to set them free. ✂️🧩🚩 Limited Tanks & Aircraft: While most of the models exceed expectations, there are only 2 aircraft and 2 tanks, so sharing is the name of the game! 🚛🛩️🇺🇸🇩🇪 Flagpole Snags: The flags are a cool addition, but they don't fit perfectly into the holders, leading to a few snapped flagpoles. This was provided by vine program.The world environmental objects are great, good level of detail sturdy and potentially paintable if you wanted a more realistic feel. (Was tempted to keep for myself for warhammer environment)The figures are a little cheaper in feel but still to a good quality. Again these could be painted if you wish.You get all the objects in a very handy bag with a zip for safe storage and so far this product has provided an hour or two of fun for the kids. (Not as easy to get back in bag once out)If you want some nostalgia as a parent these are great, if you want a war style toy for kids then these are great. Some of the figures quality could be improved however but for the price these are worthy of 4*

If you are purchasing this as gift, you may want to think twice about unpacking and having a look at the contents beforehand. Once I had removed a few items it became a challenging puzzle to try to get all the items back into the bag again so the lid could be sealed :)The majority of the contents of this set are ready to play, but some items come attached to sprues or each other. For the sand-coloured walls, the plastic is quite flexible and so they easily just twist off and you don’t need cutters. However, the flags and bases come attached to each other with thicker plastic joining them together. You may need spue cutters or scissors to cut them looseMost of the models are better than I expected. The tanks for example, have rotating wheels hidden between the tracks and the turrets rotate also. There are also aircraft and these also have wheels on the underside.There are 4 teams; Green, Sand, Red and Silver coloured. There are also 4 flags and flag bases; Britain, USA, Germany and Japan. There are only 2 aircraft and 2 tanks though, so these have to be shared. The army figures themselves have quite a lot of detail to them and they do standup OK on their bases. Each coloured team, has 7 different figure types. There are 4-6 figures provided of each model variant apart from the heavy weapon and kneeling figure of which there was only one of eachThere are also various clutter/scenery items provided. As well as a single guard tower, there are fences/barbed wire, barrels, jerry cans etc. In my opinion, the walls and clutter items are where the real value of this set comes in. These could be reused with other toys in the future as the kids grow up and give extra value to this set. Perhaps for miniature warfare or even as accessories for construction brick play when the kids get older. Miniature warfare walls are generally quite expensive if purchased separately. Although many of the walls are only single sided, they could still cost a significant amount if purchased separately

Grabbed this for my nephew who is currently mad on military toys, and this is what he has to say about it:"It is SO good! You get so much stuff. More than 10 barbed wires, which is very good! Little fake trees and also characters (the nameless soldiers in any of these sort of sets) have good details which is also good. You get tents and walls. Walls can be stuck together. 4 flags! 2 jets! 2 tanks! Best army set ever.""10/10""Way too good! A must buy!"Now, putting my adult hat on, it's not a bad set, things aren't to the scale as one another, but that's okay as imaginative play is the game. When you pop some of the parts from their frames you may be left with minor sharp edges which can be filed down, so watch out for that.The kid was excited to show me that out of the walls you can build a house. He was ecstatic when he realised that you can stick sandbags to the sides of the walls. Flipped out when he noticed that the ladder to the watch tower moves.He was just absolutely made up.
