Works really well, after changing the blade
When this first arrived I was seriously considering returning this item as the blade kept jumping off the wheels. I suspected an alignment issue but even after alignment the blade would jump off almost immediately. This led to the blade snapping after not even fully cutting through 40mm of Aluminium. On inspection of the blade I noticed it was thinner than I expected and compared to the spare blades I had ordered (From a different company) you could visually see the difference in thickness.I decided to install a spare blade and have not had any problems since.

Good saw crap vice
Vice will not tighten. I changed the vice, item is ok still worked out cheaper than some power saws. Cuts 1.5" sched 40 tube. All day.

Terrible
Base was warped corner to corner. Blade run off almost every cut, very noisy and a terrible quality vice.

Useless vice but now excellent
An excellent saw but only after much fettling. I fitted an engineer’s vice - craftsman made - and added a sub-base with adjustment for squaring up. Added a homemade adjustable end stop. Disabled vertical stop.I junked the Kennedy Hexacut.This now cuts really well. Can’t imagine not having it.
