If this looks vaguely familiar that’s because it’s a direct scaled-down copy of the Playmobil pirate raiders’ ship – literally a pirated pirate ship ! Still it’s probably the most plausible toy pirate ship around, particularly as the masts and sails are more or less in proportion and the hull detail is excellent. It’s smaller than the 12” claimed but is big enough to work for 20-28mm wargaming, and with a few tweaks (eg removing the over-sized deck cannons) and a decent paint job, would make a great piece of tabletop eye candy.

Can’t get the noise on the ship to stop. As per other review it won’t turn off. Cheap enough but quite annoying

I guess you get what you pay for....good value, but very poor quality. We broke the tree when putting together. Then after about 30 minutes of play, I pressed the button for "ship sounds" and it literally won't stop! Had to take the battery out

This is a very cheaply made pirate playset. It's all plastic, made lots of bits that don't quite fit together as they should (for example one of the masts bends when you attach the rigging) and doesn't feel very durable. It also has flashing lights and annoying-to-parents noises.However, some of it is quite good (not brilliant but good). The pirate ship, while small, is well made and looks great. The details on it are nice. It's a shame the 4 pirates are too big to stand on it but it's ok. The trees are decent too and the shark while having a very noticeable join is fun (it's eyes light up and it makes ocean noises). There's also a working cannon and other pirate paraphernalia (treasure chest, barrels, food etc).I quite like it and my kids love it so it gets 3 stars from me.

This toy is a low-quality toy using cheap plastics. When setting up the sails, the mast (pole) bends. Also, the proportion of the pirates versus the boats is out of proportion meaning you can’t have the pirates on the boat while playing. The side canons of the boat also point forward or inside the deck (unable to point sideways). Avoid this toy!

Good value toy with lots of bits and things to assemble creative play. There is some putting together but that was sort of the fun' Really surprised how great this was ! Fantastic, Im really happy with the item. Would say it’s value for money and packaged well. Quality product. I’d definitely recommend. Will add pictures when my phone is fixed as broke my camera
