I got this aluminium dosing funnel to use with my Sage coffee machine as I did not want to use a plastic one that Sage offer on their website.This dosing funnel fits the stock 54mm portafilter of my Sage Bambino Plus well. It greatly reduces spillages of ground coffee when using the distribution tool although a little bit of coffee still gets spilled over when you remove the tool. I wish I had gotten this funnel a lot earlier!I have also used this dosing funnel with my Sage Smart Grinder Pro - the fit is not 100%, I do need to tilt the portafilter with the attached funnel to be able to touch the metallic strip at the back for the automatic grinding to start. The problem is that the portafilter together with the filter attachment are a few millimetres too tall for this. However, as long as you hold the portafilter at an angle, the grinder recognises the attachments and commences grinding your coffee.

Didn't fit my Sage smart grinder.

Helps a lot when using a distribution tool especially to keep the coffee in the portafilter. I found using this with Sage portafilters leaves a small gap between the rim of the basket and this funnel which traps coffee and spills it when removed. If you use a bottomless portafilter you can push the basket up to meet the funnel, if not you are out of luck.
