The Best Gift for My Wife
I mentioned in my other review that my wife used to complain about my cluttered work desktop until I used TESmart's 2 Monitors 4 Computers kvm switch and now I bought her another dual computer model kvm, my wife is a freelancer. She only has a desktop computer and a laptop. She often edits pictures and videos, doesn’t have 4 PCs with different systems like me, but you can’t imagine that how she love this KVM switch.First of all, it was really easy to install, their user manual is very detailed,my wife was able to do it right from the instructions and didn't even need my help(except a docking station). Her highest appreciation for this KVM is that when she is editing pictures, the left screen displays the material website, and she can directly drag the picture materials to the right screen for editing. when she wants to entertain, she can easily switch to another A computer has greatly improved her work experience. The USB 3.0 compatibility sets this KVM switch apart. In comparison to other USB 2.0 KVMs, the transfer speeds are as different as night and day - imagine the contrast between a 19th-century steam train and a sleek modern airplane. The support for resolutions up to 3840x2160@60Hz with 4:4:4 color accuracy is essential for anyone like my wife who works with high-definition content, ensuring crystal-clear visuals.I occasionally play Steam's Forza Horizon 4 with my wife's desktop. I adjust the resolution to 2K so that I can get a refresh rate of 144Hz.The KVM switch provides multiple control options, including IR signals, front panel buttons, and keyboard hot keys. My wife likes the keyboard hot key switch best, while I prefer the physical buttons on the front panel. The ability to charge mobile phones and tablets through the front panel USB-A port is an excellent addition, saving us from fumbling for chargers and sockets. Another very important feature is the EDID emulator, which saves us from repeatedly resizing the working window. But my wife also has some complaints, to set up a dual-screen display, you'll need to connect two video outputs from your computer to KVM switch. Her laptop doesn't have two HDMI ports, so I purchased a docking station, which was extra cost.Compared with other brands of kvm switchers, TESmart seems to be a bit more expensive, but compared to its reliability, I think this is the price I should pay.TESmart kvm switch has transformed my and my wife's studio,as a system architect, I appreciate the seamless integration it offers, while as a husband, I'm delighted to see my wife enjoying her work even more with this outstanding tool. For anyone seeking to optimize their home office and multimedia tasks, this KVM switch is a wise investment that will undoubtedly enhance your daily life.

Probably the best option available
Note: This is a day 1 review, and I will be sure to update this review if anything changes.I work from home and wanted a solution to toggle between my home PC and work laptop with as little fuss as possible. Prior to purchasing this KVM switch I had been using a single monitor setup with each PC using a different input to the monitor, and a cheap USB switch for the keyboard and mouse. When switching between the two I would have to switch inputs on the monitor and then press the button on the USB switch. Not the best setup, but it worked. I wanted to add a second monitor and decided to give this product a try as it seemed like it had everything I was looking for.I read through everything on the product page as well as many reviews prior to making my purchase and took special note of the adapter requirements. My GPU has several DisplayPort outputs but only a single HDMI out. My laptop docking station also has 1 DisplayPort and 1 HDMI. So I went onto the manufacturer's website and purchased two of the adapter they have linked there.First impressions were very positive. Product construction seems solid, cables included, instructions are easy to understand. When I first hooked everything up the second monitor flashed on and off which was worrisome, however I turned the unit off and back on and it hasn't done it since then, so I am not going to worry about it.I did notice that the picture quality was not nearly as good on the 2nd monitor as it was on the first (same brand and model). It seemed like the gamma was way off, darks were too dark, not a lot of gradient. At first I thought to blame the unit, but I tested both monitors directly into the PC and got the same result so I assumed I must be losing quality when using the DisplayPort to HDMI adapter. However, I did some searching on the web and found a post on a site that suggested to go into the NVidia control panel and change the dynamic range from limited to full, which I did for both monitors and that resolved the issue -the picture now looks identical on both monitors.I really like that it has hardware emulation so when you switch between PCs, the PC still thinks the devices are connected and your display resolution doesn't change, and the same goes for the keyboard and mouse - windows no longer acts like you are plugging and unplugging USB devices - this is a common limitation of cheap KVM switches (I had the same issue with my USB switch) and it can be very annoying.I was also very impressed that it works well with my gaming keyboard and mouse (Corsair K55 RGB keyboard and Steelseries Rival 300) - I have had cheap KVM switches in the past that did not work well with anything other than very basic keyboard and mouse, so this is a big plus. The only thing I don't like about it is that the LED lights are very bright. I like to work in a dimly-lit office and they can be a bit distracting.Overall I am very pleased with the product so far. I truly hope that it holds up over time.UPDATE 7/30/2021: After nearly 1 month, I have experienced the flashing monitor issue an additional 2-3 times and have had to power the unit off and back on in order to resolve it. So far it's only a minor inconvenience and does not change my overall rating. I am still very happy with the product. I will continue to post updates to this review if anything changes.
