While replacing the batteries in this headset is a task, getting these new ones is made easier with the extras they supply with the package. They supply the batteries (2) a screwdriver, a tube of paste, and tweezers to make the replacement a little easier. The photo with the listing shows a single-edge razor blade. but this did not come with the package I received. Regardless, I don't know what you would use this to re-power the headphones. The batteries are installed, and the headphones are performing at peak performance again.

they worked ok for like 6 months, now they only last 13 minutes before the ear buds shut off from low charge, wish we could find batteries we know were made so we can buy fresh batteries

purchased and installed at end of Feburary '24 it's october 15 '24 and they won't fully charge anymore and they say 80% and last about 12 minutes. They didn't degrade over time they just started this heavy fall off this week.

If you are looking for new batterys for sony ear buds, forget this product and buy the original Varta CP 1254, that cost the same. The battery is terible and the charge only last a few minutes. The screw drivers that came in the kit are very low quality and actually destroyed my ear bud's screw, in addition to spread metal dust inside it.
