Sharp and comfortable
I liked the nice packaging, it came in a form fitted foam in a box. The knife is clean and polished nicely cuts very well and fits the hand very comfortably. Worth the money spent. My wife says it's not a dinner(steak) knife but I absolutely disagree with her😆Big steaks cut better with big knives😋

Great butcher knife for the price!
Chef of over 35 years, I have “ high end “ knives from Germany etc , this knife is interesting, it’s flexible, good handle, edge needed a bit of “ work “ not much just using a “ steel “ but for the price darn good ! Will it “ hold up “ ? Who knows ! One more thing, it is “well balanced “ as u grip it or use it

Not sharp, and too wide of a blade.
I'm a bit disappointed with this knife, it's not as sharp as it should be. I have a hard time slicing meat. I'm thinking I should return it. Sorry!

Love it
This has been my go-to kitchen knife now for about 6 months and I've been very happy with it. It's sharp and it cuts easily. The handle has a bit of cushion to it and it's very easy to grip and hold. It's also easy to clean and I don't have to worry about a wood handle getting too wet. I typically hand wash mine immediately after use but sometimes I'll put it in the dishwasher (especially after cutting chicken) for extra sterilization and it has held up well so far. No signs of rust spots or etching. Is it a German chef's knife? No. But at this price it's a fantastic value. It's not much more expensive than sharpening my Henckels or F. Dick knives.

This knife is meant for large cuts of meat
This is probably the largest knife we have ever owned. I have a machete, and this is only a bit smaller than it! This knife excels at cutting large, tough cuts of meat. The sharp side holds an edge very well, yet resharpens easily. For a lot of kitchens, this may be more knife than the person cooking may want to wield. There are smaller knives in this collection that will fit their needs. Not really a fan of the knife's handle color, but otherwise, I really like this knife.

long harp solid blade with a great grip on the handle
The blade measures on the straight from the handle is 11½" inches long. The curved cutting edge is 12½" long. The thickness of the blade is about 1/8" or 2.8mm. The blade is well polished and sharp. The ergonomically design Santoprene Handle feels very comfortable and secure to hold onto. This 12" Chef's Knife has a solid weight and feel to it. It would be an ease to use for portioning out cuts of steak or slice through a whole watermelon in one go. I'll be looking forward to using this knife a lot.
