This extension rod works great. Don't over-tighten the two hex screws, as you may strip them. This happened to me on one screw (my fault). The rod came with two already in place, but it also came, very thoughtfully, with 2 extra hex screws and the hex wrench needed to tighten them. I needed the extension, but had to cut it, as it made the total rod length a bit too long. In the end, everything worked out perfectly.

Perfect! Just as described and solved my problem with installing new faucet and drain.

Product arrived as promised, and works as expected.

I bought two of these on two separate occasions. The first one looked like a quality product and worked great. Okay, full disclosure here, the hex wrench isn’t intended for more than a single use (I stripped it tightening down the screws) but hey I already have a set of them so who cares? The second one arrived nicely boxed, bagged with the extra screws and hex wrench (like the first one). I discovered during installation that the screws in the extension itself were missing. No big deal since I had the “extra screws” but seeing it validated for me some of the negative reviews on packaging and accompanying contents.

When tightening Allen screws don’t use the poorly sized tool that is part of the kit. Use your own or it will strip.

Works, fits well, looks good (though in my sink it is hidden inside the vanity cabinet).As a bonus, includes the correct hex key AND SPARE SET SCREWS!

Worked well for my bathroom remodel. Have to cut it but that was easy to do. A little expensive for my taste but you got to do what you got to do!!

Unlike other reviews this fit my kohler faucet and came in a sealed bag. Both set screws were in the packagealong with two additional set screws and the allen wrench in a separate sealed bag.
